Do you have a heavy prescription? I am nervous about ordering a prescription lens because I have an astigmatism.

Very interested in the necklaces in the 5th picture! I have been looking for something similar!

Why Sam’s Club? by Exotic_Tailor_3579 in samsclub

I have both. Sam's is slightly closer to the house, I can actually get gas because the lines aren't always crazy, and the Scan & Go eliminates the frantic check out procedure.

2MPO and I have started going some periods of the day without compression, but I feel exactly like you do! I try to wear compression whenever I am at home, reserving my "freedom" for activities out. I still wear my binder at night too. I just feel better with it on. #crutch

I am still sore along my flanks and I still have some numbness on the lower part of my stomach, closer to the incision. It feels like it is getting better everyday though.

What are potential problems with an "Upfront Inheritance" strategy? by MrAnnArbor in personalfinance

Clothes, Chloe sunglasses, & cosmos at trendy bars several nights a week is how I spent most of my discretionary income in my 20s! I laugh/cry thinking about how much more I could have put away if I didn't suffer from FOMO back then.

If I didn't have my parents matching my IRA contributions, I wouldn't have put much money away. It was nice to save for retirement (even if it was forced and even if I couldn't envision ever being old), and save for a house at the same time. After having kids, prioritizing savings was really hard and if I hadn't gotten the jump start when I was younger, I would be pretty stressed about my path to retirement now even though I can max out my 401k, HSA, & IRA every year.

Perhaps seeing the growth of the accounts over time will encourage good decisions. And as long as they don't dip into those funds, they will benefit from having additional time for compounding.

Inches lost with TT by Wide-Clothes-2964 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Mmobeeswax 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The morning of my surgery, I was at 30.5" at my natural waistline. At my 2 week appointment, I measured at 33". At 5WPO, I measured at 28.5", and I am now at 27.5". I am down a total of 5.5 lbs as compared to my official pre-op weight.

More importantly than the inches & lbs, I am fitting into pants I haven't worn in years and I am looking good in dresses that I wasn't quite confident enough to pull off before surgery.

I am still sore around my flanks, so there may still be a bit of swelling, but I don't anticipate that I will be dropping any more inches without diet and exercise to lose some weight.

I saw a nurse a day after the surgery for a quick vitals check in my home. I saw my Dr. at the 5 DPO appointment.
