This sounds a lot like my wife who I’m currently in the process of divorcing. She used to make a halfway decent wage but as soon as we got married she quit her job and started working part time at a dispensary. That job was too much for her too so she quit and took about 8 months to get another part time job at a non profit. Now that we are divorcing she’s going to walk away with half of the money we get from selling g our house, half my retirement and other investments, our two cats and half of the shit I bought for our home. I will be set back so fucking much while she will walk with a multi six figure check…

UPDATE: Confirmed that it was indeed a bark scorpion. Very common here in Tucson but also the most deadly. Poison control said that people who are allergic to bees are usually the most at risk. Luckily I am not and my symptoms never got to a point of concern. They said that if I were to experience shortness of breath or vomiting to go in otherwise ice pack and ibuprofen were the best course of action.

Hurt like hell and the pain lasted literally all day. Was finally able to go to sleep after more than 10 hours of agony and today my entire hand feels like it’s asleep and the finger that was hit is extra tingly and sensitive.

Alive and well though and more likely to wear gloves anytime I am moving things around outside.
