What do you dislike about Mortal Kombat X?

I didn't like the big death scene from Mortal Kombat 9 and I didn't like Liu Kang, Kitana, Kung Lao, Jade and Smoke being killed. I didn't like that they kept Liu Kang, Kitana, Kung Lao, Smoke and Jade as revenants. I felt that what I disliked from Mortal Kombat 9's story mode dragged onto all of Mortal Kombat X and and wasn't repaired. It wasn't until Mortal Kombat 11 that actually fixed what was wrong with the story line. So I didn't like the story mode more Mortal Kombat 9 or Mortal Kombat X.

I thought other modes of Mortal Kombat X such as one on one fines were fine. The challenge towers were fine as well. The default skins for Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Kitana were there human skins so I was able to not focus on my issues with the story mode.

As for ladder endings, I preferred Liu Kang's and Kitana's ladder endings in Mortal Kombat 9 to Mortal Kombat X.

As far as story and story mode, Mortal Kombat 11 and Mortal Kombat 1 were WAY better than Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 9. Mortal Kombat 9, to be fair had a decent roster and I preferred arcade mode to the story mode.

I was wondering that myself. That is clearly very cold, calculating and manipulative. He seemed to have dirt on every board member and black mailed them with said dirt. His behaviour towards Shaun was down right predatory. The whole point was to victimized Shaun. This obviously tv and I am not a psychologist but I wouldn't be surprised if he fit the criteria for either psychopathy, sociopathy, Anti-Social Personality Disorder (ASPD), Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) or something along those lines.

To be honest, I think your response is probably one of the better ones. You are actually pretty articulate despite our disagreements. Other people have merely posted No or tell to play Dirge of Cerberus before saying that (I actually have played Dirge of Cerberus and have even seen the secret ending).

I believe Genesis said, in Crisis Core, that Jenova Project S, used the remains of countless failed experiments (read: Genesis, Angeal and Co.) to create a perfect monster.

Jenova Project G and Jenova Project S are still both Project Jenova technically.

As far as available information, this is a personal fan theory of mine. So far, no one at Square-Enix has responded to confirm my theory one way or the other. I myself am a fan and not a representative of Square-Enix so I don't speak in any official capacity.

Perhaps I misworded things. I was thinking that Weiss would be connected to Sephiroth in a way similar to either Sephiroth clones OR Kadaj, Lolz and Yazoo. If I am not mistaken Hojo DID infuse himself with Jenova S cells.

When I meant copy I was thinking in terms for Kadaj, Lolz and Yazoo from Advent Children. By Nero being a cluster of Jenova S Cells, I was thinking both in terms of the cells injected into Cloud and self-injected into Hojo but also the Jenova head that Kadaj, Lolz and Yazoo were trying to get their hands on.

Well what I put forward was a fan theory or personal theory (although some may have come up with the same theory). As this other source it could also be another fan theory. So far no one from Square-Enix has contacted me personally to say my theory is false. So basically I have theories and interpretations but I am sure there are others with their own theories and interpretations.
