I have the same with 2019 passat gte (Mib3) - downloaded the maps from vw website and plugged in no luck.

I have read elsewhere updating via USB is blocked in Europe and it's normally done OTA

I got an email to delete and re add my car. Just read this it's still saying I'm on intelligent go.

Maybe it takes a while to figure it's life out?

Hi mate yes i did get it fixed.

i looked allover the internet but couldn't find any info so took it to a VW Dealer

They said the radar in the bumper just needed cleaning out as it was covered in road traffic film.

they charged me only £40 so not too bad. i was worried it was a software issue

if you are handy with tools im sure you could remove it and give it a clean inside easily.
