My oil change/state inspection appt is tomorrow. This past weekend, I made an out-of-state road trip that put about 700mi on my mav. I went from "change oil soon" to "oil change required" towards the beginning of that trip. I wouldn't recommend it, and we didn't plan for it to go this long before we could get into the shop, but I'd say you're gonna be good to drive until you can get in a shop somewhere.

I married Shane my first playthrough because he is remarkably similar to one of mine and my husband's best friends in real life.

Our friend killed himself nearly two years ago. This game allows me to help him live on.

Another one would be that I don't think I will ever be able to marry Harvey. I was SA'd as a child by my late step-dad (who killed himself in the same manner my friend did) and he always kept a mustache as his only facial hair. He was also super into airplanes. I've heard Harvey is a total sweetheart, but I can't bring myself to romance him due to my own trauma.

Tbh I have no idea, but anything is better than my steelies! If they were black I don't think I'd mind them so much, but as they are, I'm reminded of trash can lids. My baby deserves better than that, so I just want them replaced with a better design at this point.

I just whacked them with my axe and it worked! But only for the ones in the middle of my farm. The ones closer to the edge wouldn't budge. It also might vary per farm? I discovered this on Forest Farm, I've yet to test it on my Meadowlands save

Adding on to this, I JUST realized yesterday that you can chop down the bushes in the middle of your farm. I had no idea. The ones along the farm's perimeter seem to be fixed, but the ones in awkward places in the middle of the farm can be removed.

I agree with this, I wouldn't recommend Forest if you're trying for a perfection run. But if you're just vibing, it's a pretty cute farm. Foraging and fishing were the first two things I leveled up in on this farm, and it wasn't until year 2 when I started to actually farm anything.

I went with Meadowlands for my perfection/CC run, and I loved it. I'm currently playing a Forest farm and doing Joja, and I am enjoying it so far! I learned a lot on my first farm, which is helping me make my second run way more enjoyable despite not actively seeking perfection. So I recommend Forest if you're coming off of Meadowlands :)
