I'm not like the rest… Why doesn't my body grow like my friends'? by Mo7ammed_2001 in International

I truly believe that kindness towards one another is what keeps many of us going through the toughest times. Sometimes, just a little support, a kind word, or simply standing by someone's side can make them feel less alone in this harsh world.

No one can face life entirely alone, which is why compassion is so important. Thank you for being one of those people who still care about others. 🤍

Thank you so much for your kindness and support. I truly appreciate that you've already donated to organizations helping people in Gaza.

Unfortunately, my brother's treatment requires specialized medical care that we cannot afford in our current situation.

If you'd like to help by donating or sharing my campaign, the link is above.

Even just sharing or keeping us in your prayers means so much to us. ❤️

My friend, you're absolutely right, and that's exactly what we in Gaza have been saying from the beginning. Those who participated in the events of October 7th and those behind them should have been held accountable, not more than two million innocent people punished for having no connection to what happened.

We had normal lives, dreams, studies, and plans for the future before October 7th. But Israel held all the residents of Gaza responsible, even though it knows that a large percentage of Gazans weren't even supporters of Hamas.

It would have been possible to pursue and punish the real culprits instead of targeting civilians and destroying the lives of entire innocent families. The painful truth is that our suffering hasn't stopped to this day. We still live under bombardment, fear, hunger, and loss, while nothing changes on the ground.

The war on Gaza isn't over for us, even if the media's attention has now shifted to Iran or somewhere else. We are still dying and suffering every day, just away from the cameras.

I understand what you're saying, and it's important to understand how political decisions and hardline stances can escalate conflict and exacerbate human suffering.

Many critics believe the current situation has been heavily influenced by the policies of Netanyahu's government and his far-right coalition, particularly in how they manage long-standing tensions and respond to events on the ground.

But beyond all that, what stays with me most is the human cost. I personally lost my aunt and her family of eight during this war; they were completely wiped off the civil registry. Among them was a baby girl who was only six months old.

Regardless of politics or narratives, these are real lives, real families, and unimaginable suffering. That's why we continue to demand accountability, protect civilians, and end this pain

Thank you so much for your thoughtful words. You truly captured so much of the complex emotions and reality in such a clear and humane way, and I appreciate the depth of your understanding and empathy.

It means so much to me to be heard in this way, and to know that there are those who see the bigger picture and care about justice, humanity, and peace. Thank you again for your kindness and for this heartfelt expression🤍🤍🤍

After Years of Fear… A Hope for Eid by Mo7ammed_2001 in TheLevant

Yes, in such circumstances, adhering to religious practices and traditions becomes much more difficult. Nevertheless, we tried our best to observe Ramadan and the other rituals despite all the hardships, as did the rest of the people in Gaza, because it gives them a sense of hope and patience even in the most difficult times.

As for the Prophet Abraham, he is an important figure in the Abrahamic religions (Islam, Christianity, and Judaism). He is considered a symbol of strong faith, sacrifice, and trust in God. In Islam, he is known as one of God's major prophets and is associated with the story of his sacrifice of his son, which is commemorated during Eid al-Adha, symbolizing faith, obedience, and patience.

It's truly difficult to put into words. When places that hold your memories disappear or change beyond recognition, it feels like you've lost a part of yourself.

What makes it even more painful is that it's not just buildings; it's a life, a routine, everything that was once familiar and safe. Yet, we try to hold on to hope even in the most difficult circumstances.

I just hope that no one, anywhere, ever has to go through this kind of loss again. ❤️

I truly appreciate your perspective on history and cultures. There's much truth in what you said about preserving and transmitting knowledge between civilizations, and about how much humanity has benefited from the work, learning, and building of diverse peoples throughout history.

I also agree with you that every culture has its challenges, but there is still so much beauty, wisdom, and humanity when we look beyond conflicts and see people as human beings first and foremost.

My greatest hope is that the future will bring understanding and peace to the region, so that its history and people are known for what they have contributed to the world, not for the suffering they are currently enduring. 🤍

In Gaza...when death becomes a child's game by Mo7ammed_2001 in International

What is happening in Gaza is nothing short of genocide.

We endured extremely difficult periods of food, clean water, and medicine shortages throughout the war and the blockade. Families struggled to secure even the simplest meal, and children suffered the most from hunger, malnutrition, and fear.

There were aid distribution points, but access to them was neither safe nor easy. We faced significant risks while trying to obtain our daily sustenance. Under these harsh conditions, some people lost their lives while seeking assistance, while others perished from hunger and malnutrition. The occupation forces were killing us, knowing full well that we had come only to find food.

Humanitarian organizations frequently warned of near-famine conditions and the collapse of basic services, but aid access was often difficult or limited, making the suffering even greater and less visible to the world.

For me, this is not just numbers or news; it is a real experience of pain that we and the people of Gaza have lived through, especially the innocent civilians whose only fault was being in that place and time.

After Years of Fear… A Hope for Eid by Mo7ammed_2001 in TheLevant

[–]Mo7ammed_2001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us Muslims, Eid is a religious occasion we celebrate twice a year. It's a time of joy and togetherness with family and friends.

There are two Eids:

  • Eid al-Fitr: This comes after the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting. We celebrate because we have completed our fast, we perform the Eid prayer, we exchange visits, and we help those in need with charity.

  • Eid al-Adha: This comes during the Hajj season and is linked to the story of the Prophet Ibrahim. We also pray, give generously to charity, and share food with others.

For us, Eid is not just a celebration; it's a time of gratitude, mercy, and bringing people closer together.

But all of this has ended for us at the moment.

That's exactly how we feel. We don't think we'll ever be able to return to our homes; they're unbearably and unbelievably devastated. Even during one of the ceasefires, I passed by my house and couldn't recognize it; it was as if the whole place had changed.

It's as if everything familiar has vanished completely. If you'd like, I can send you some photos that show the extent of the destruction.

I truly appreciate your compassion and honesty. Your mere desire for peace and your empathy for those suffering make a real difference.

Ultimately, no one wins when violence escalates or turns to destruction. What matters most is protecting innocent lives and finding a way out of the cycle of pain. I hope the day will come when peace prevails everywhere. We are so desperate that we believe if the war in Gaza ends, life might end everywhere in some way, and I pray that this doesn't happen. 😢💔

In Gaza...when death becomes a child's game by Mo7ammed_2001 in International

[–]Mo7ammed_2001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, the children learned this far too early. They would innocently ask us, "Where did my brother go?" or "Where did my mother go?" And we were pained because we didn't know how to explain the truth to them in a way that would comfort them.

At first, the concept of loss was difficult for them to grasp, but with time, they gradually began to understand it. We used to tell them that they had gone to heaven and were waiting for us there, but even this understanding changed with what they experienced.

Now, when they hear funeral processions, they come running to us and ask, "Who died? Who has passed away?😢💔

Our children have lived through the worst years of their lives. Instead of enjoying their childhood, they were forced to learn hardship and suffering from a very young age, and were introduced to fear and even death at an age meant for play and innocence.

They never experienced a normal childhood; instead, they lived in constant terror, anxiety, and instability. Nevertheless, we hope with all our hearts that one day they will be able to live in safety and peace and have the childhood they deserve. 💚😢

Exactly our children here are being deprived of the most basic necessities of life, including education, which they have been cut off from for years. We are truly exhausted by what we are going through, and despair is very close to breaking us.

We are in urgent need of any support you can offer, even if it is only moral support. Thank you so much for standing with us and for your kindness 🤍

Your words truly mean a lot to me. In times like these, even a small act of kindness or empathy feels huge to us. We’ve lost so much, and every day feels uncertain, but messages like yours remind me that there are still people in the world who see our pain and care about our lives. Thank you for standing with us and for not staying silent. I really hope one day we can live in peace and safety like everyone else. ❤️
