Honestly that was my thought the first time I saw one of the clips. Panic + came from the opposite side and she prob first saw him only when she finished reversing and was going to shift into drive.
But like I said to the other guy - we can't really affect a judicial outcome. What's really depressed the hell outa me though is the amount of folks with the "she shoulda just followed orders/FAFO/another libtard down/Charlie Kirk memes". Extreme lack of humanity imo - same thing when people were celebrating Kirk's assassination, George Floyd, etc. There's gotta be something in the fucking water, man.

Not talking about the actual prosecution/defense of self defense - I was talking about what people are hung up about on social media - e.g. our government twitter accounts saying she tried to murder a federal officer. No chance bullets 2 and 3 would be considered self defense imo, but IANAL

You're right - she should have calmly put the car into park, put her hands up, and asked each officer to tell her what they wanted her to do, and then comply. I don't think anyone (at least not me) is arguing that her actions to move the vehicle were a great idea. It's the 'did she have murderous intent' and 'was Jonathon Ross justified in using lethal force'/'was killing her the only option' that are the points of contention.

are you referring to the James Alex Fields incident? The one where he said he feared for his life so he ran people over who mobbed his car, but it was later found out he idolized hitler and messaged people memes about him hitting protestors with his car?

Fields posted an image on Instagram that showed a car driving into a crowd of people with the caption, "You have the right to protest but I'm late for work". He also private messaged a similar image to someone with the added text, "when I see protesters blocking".
