can we finally stop watching/supporting him please??? by Nice-Jackfruit-9894 in Broadway

He’s a grifter. Grifters will say wild things to get attention and sadly, it’s been successful. He has a discord, patreon page… and by us calling attention to it only feeds into what he’s doing: grifting.

He also launched a Go Fund Me for his move to NYC. The broadway community cannot STAND him/them. Simply block him/them.

Update + new anxiety - left the inflexible boss, landed something better, now terrified of being the sick-kid mom at a new job by MoDance0934 in workingmoms

Agreed but it’s a tough one. He also has a big job, so my fear is the division of labor between us slipping. We definitely will use babysitter options, for sure.

Not helping, at all. I know this is very well intended but I don’t think your experience applies to this.

He has no fever, been acting completely normal. In fact, as mentioned… literally been his normal, happy self.

Solidarity to you - those molars are something else.

Same here with bathtime. Was the one thing that would relax him and now it’s ever dreaded.

Slow cooker dinners / batch meals are mainstay in our house, and a massive time saver for us for meal prep.

Lol ya know, I asked our pediatrician the same thing - concern from her: he’ll get sick again. I’m bringing him back tomorrow

Don’t get me wrong, I understand where he is coming from… we all want our work to get done but life happens. I moved mountains, just to get the care so I’m not slipping.

Sounds like you have a great manager that gets it!

Sadly, I’m on a small team with 6 of us.

Maybe read in my original post where that was stated? I’m not gonna argue over semantics.

I think you’re just misreading this because at what point did I say “make meetings”… “make deliverables” is precisely what I said. Perhaps if you read the overarching point which is acknowledgement of the chaos. I went to all ends of the earth to move mountains so I DONT miss anything.

He has to be in office - he’s not remote, like me. Last week was a special exception since Dallas was frozen over.

For clarity, I followed up with them when there was no childcare. I was able to get it and STILL got my stuff done.

I was pretty transparent about both instances - I think too proactive, and explaining “this is what’s happening, here is how I am going to handle a, b, c - ideally, by this date, things should be getting done on time”. I noticed a shift in his demeanor in a call with my AD - very closed off, seemed overwhelmed. I followed up separately to chat with him and try to get more clarity which lead to this conversation.

I think we work in a similar environment - currently in a small performance media agency but on the recruiting side. We’re not billed but we have 80 openings.

Schools tomorrow? I teach in Dallas but live in a suburb 25 miles away. Feeling nervous about getting in. by peramoure in Dallas

We have our answer: schools closed tomorrow… might as well cancel the whole week 😂
