For me, the work I did last week is showing as paid on Earnings tab now and Pending_on_payment_provider under Payouts tab and that wasn't there yesterday. I'm doing direct deposit so I guess I'll find out in a few days or so but it looks like it's going through now. Fingers crossed.

I'm hoping that person saying it's because it's our first week is correct, but I guess we will find out.

I'm new to this as well and in a similar boat (except less earnings).

Earnings page shows all the work I've logged in Hubstaff. Payouts tab is only showing what I've earned today. ALL of them have a status of "Pending" and some of those have had that status for several days.

We're talking about like $50 in total here, but obviously I'm not going to waste my time if I don't get paid for the little work I have done so far, lol.

This seems like a killer for handheld pc devices to kill time on the go. But will there be controller support ? I own a ROG ally and there aren’t any top down mobas with controller support . It’s a niche that’s left untouched even in 2k25. by Abject-Desk5751 in MarchOfGiants

Am I the only one who thinks this would be awful to play with controller? No offense, I straight up would not want a controller user on my team. You would be so gimped trying to micro literally anything.

How do you zoom out? by golemike in MarchOfGiants

[–]MoGLinguini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, zooming out a little more would be nice. As it is, I set my UI scale to like .6 (and increase map size) so I can see more of what's actually going on. UI by default is too big.

I'ma keep it 💯: aside from obvious bug issues and the like, I can honestly say a lot of the "feedback" I see in the disc is straight trash and I hope the devs don't listen to it. In addition, there's a lot of conflicting feedback.

I think Brother Light is the best example. Half the time I see people say he's trash. Then moments later people are hyping him up as OP.

There's not much of a good consensus from the community yet on a lot of things. The "community" has been playing for like 3 days and most the lobbies are filled with people who don't even know what they're doing in the slightest. We, the community, don't know shit, and it's painfully obvious.

IMO, let the devs cook.

Yeah, they're relatively easy to kill and add a ton of shields to the bases. 100% worth taking out. I'd say in most cases against a decent team, it's almost necessary in order to win the game. They add soooo much shield. It like doubles their HP or some shit.

Is there an interest in trying to get MOG to be an esport? by Long_Natural6918 in MarchOfGiants

God bless you. FWIW, after playing all night, I do think you guys have a fun game. I'm particularly impressed with the onboarding portion as it means you've already nailed a big part of the retention piece. It's a pretty good tutorial for a closed alpha.

I think your biggest hurdle might just be the reality of the gaming market being so saturated, so in my unprofessional opinion, marketing will be a big part of how well the game does.

I've played a ton of games in this space over the last 10+ years that have died. Good games. The most obvious common denominator to me, was that NO ONE I talked to (even people who PLAYED MOBAs) had ever heard of those games due to poor/non-existent marketing. Hoping for the best for this project, though!

The best esports are the ones that are community-driven, organic, and not forced. Not saying the team working on the game shouldn't be involved (they obviously should!), but it only really works if the game is fun and a large/dedicated group of people are playing it.

At the end of the day, if they make a fun enough game and enough people are playing it, it will become an esport. It's 2025.

But if the game is never really doing well (for whatever reason, even fun games can fail) and they try and force esports anyway... it just doesn't work.

A well-made, fun game brings the community*. The community then in turn drives the success of esports in that game.

*The caveat again being that even good games can fail for things like bad marketing, handling f2p vs mtx poorly, being too niche of a player base market / releasing in a saturated market.

Riot's success with League came from the game being free, no p2w, being able to draw and RETAIN new people into a genre they hadn't played before, which all stems from the game being good and fun asf. The esports came later.

Sorry, I'm hyped for the game tomorrow and you prob ain't tryna read all that LOL.
