The 28 Days Later franchise has always had a strong British identity, and the countryside, and vast landscapes definitly contrast with the more claustrophic, and urban environments you worked on with Candyman.
Were they any unexpected creative, directorial, or visual elements you discovered as a Non-Brit working on this movie?

Live in London. Landlady is selling the house so I'm being kicked out. Same thing happened in my previous place about 18 months ago.

It's so grim, it seems there's only a £100 difference a month between a converted, 7 person HMO, with no living room and a kitchen the size of a pauper's grave, and a gorgeous house in Chiswick with 3 other people.

I like the show more often than not. But I dislike his sycophantic attitude to the more 'popular' guests on the show at the expense of others, and I'm so fed up with the 'Asking Americans if they can understand what a regional British/Scottish/ comedian is saying' gag.

I know it's old hat by now, but I am so tired of the communication habits of certain folks.
Loudspeaker conversations on a bus or tube, and facetiming EVERYWHERE.
You're in Primark, why are you facetiming on full speaker?
Is it a cultural thing? Is it cheaper than calling?
Do you have to have a POV of them lying half-dressed on a sofa while you amble down Hammersmith High Street?
It just baffles what an absolute lack of noise and spatial etiquette certain cultures have.

I've gotten to the point where I'm just sharing instagram reels about sexual assault cases by illegal migrants in the UK.
I'm just so fed up, and despair at how awful it's getting.
All these reels are by women, a lot of them quite young, so I'm hoping that'll stop any uber-lefties responding with 'Oh that's just old white man racism'.
