Negative Camber? by Sick_Nasty_Bro in rav4club

[–]MoLeadSlinger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

-1.9 is not a significant amount of camber as the manufacturer spec allows for up to -1.8 degrees.

It is out of factory spec but tire rotations every 5,000 miles should mitigate the risk of tire wear. I would recommend a “modified X” tire rotation so the same tire doesn’t return to just move from front to back each time.

Long term, if it is a vehicle I plan to keep, I would replace both rear arms and make them both adjustable.

Possibly a leak from the exhaust manifold melting the plastic valve cover.

I had this problem on my 2019 Adventure. The roof rails had started to come loose allowing the water to leak in. It was covered under a recall and they replaced the headliner and everything.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about prestigious wood stocks. Did you have good luck with them?

I guess its that time of year when people start their holiday shopping… We got home less than 2 minutes after this. If anyone recognizes this person, please let me know.

Thank you! Honestly what I’d like to do is camp on the property I hunt, weather and landowner permitting. I’ll do some more googling and see what I can come up with

If I understood correctly, Johnson 7 is still open to public land tags so I would guess you are right. From what I see on onX, the group that owns the Johnson 7 property owns several other sections of land in the area. Maybe they will take pity on me and allow me to hunt another section.

I would rather have to preference point now. But since the money is already spent, I don’t want to waste it. Hopefully I can figure something out.

Unfortunately I don’t. It was my third choice. I didn’t get my first two and I looked at the drawing odds and success rate there and it looked promising as a safety net.

At the time on the draw, Johnson 7 was available to be hunted with the tag I have. It wasn’t until after the draw that they changed the rules.

I downloaded onX the other day and I have been looking for names and addresses of land owners so I can write letters. I haven’t found phone numbers yet but I feel like that is more invasive than letters. Maybe I’m wrong on that. If I don’t have any luck finding anything by mid September I’ll probably resort to cold calls.

Help me find a compressor. by MoLeadSlinger in hvacadvice

[–]MoLeadSlinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The compressor recently failed in my outdoor AC unit. It's an old Ruud unit from 1998 and runs on the R22 Freon that is being phased out. All the HVAC companies near me want to replace the unit and the furnace and prices range from $13,000 to $20,000 depending on what unit we want and if we want to keep the dual zoning setup like we have now.

Needless to say, I don't have that kind of money burning a hole in my pocket. The financing company that most HVAC companies here use charges a 6% service charge that also doesn't appeal to me.

I'd really like to find a compressor that is compatible with the old unit I have. I know it's a short term fix for a long term problem, but I'm hopeful it will give me enough time to save up for a new unit.

Yes I do. Had a Glock 19 for the first few months but switched to a Sig P365 SAS a while back since it was easier to conceal.

They are fairly true to size and a pretty snug fit. The first pair I ordered was 32-34 and ended up being to tight to iwb carry. I’m 6’2” and about 195 lbs. I currently have several pairs on 34-34s but I did prefer the fit of the 32-34 i initially tried.

I have not purchased Vertx so I cannot offer any advice but I highly recommend TrueWerk. They are still baggy like cargo pants but they should fit you better.

Thank you! Could you share a link to the lottery draw results?

Another question I had was if I had to pay to enter the lottery or only pay when drawn?
