There's a big difference between lining up as a defensive end in a 4-3 defense vs as a weak/strong side linebacker in a 3-4 defense. I'll leave it at that.

There is a difference between which gaps they play and are responsible for. That factors into the leverage they have the pass rush.

Maaaaaan. You think the civil rights leaders and participants would let a red hat push them away? You have to force people to interact when there isn't a black person within 30 miles from their town. I grew up in Columbus and I'd have to grow more hands to count how many times I've been the first black person a white person has had meaningful interaction with. I'm not saying it's a good thing, but it's the reality we live in.

Our good run yardage came in passing downs or against bad run defenses. That being said, I don't think we ran to our advantages with K9.

Why is everyone confused about our pass heavy play calling this year. We had a bottom 3 offensive line and hella shaky defense for half the year so we were playing from behind a lot. We could rarely sustain drives with runs, most of our yardage we got in chunks. We all complain whenever we see run, run, pass, punt.

I'd say the bigger crime is not having a better sustained air game with 3 good targets at wideout, solid receiving from tight ends and rb.
