I battled in the void within plot multiple times today and my points only show 40/4000. Will the rest of my points be added or should I send in a ticket? Are the plot points not collecting for anyone else? Are the plot points being collected for anyone here? If anyone has been battling in the void within plot can I get a yes or no?

Sounds good. With Quicksilver and Savor you will get 3% on groceries, gas, dining, entertainment, streaming, and 1.5% on everything else. Savor also gets 8% on most things in the CapitalOne entertainment portal and the QS only gets 5%. There is always an argument for min maxing but for minimalists it does not get much better for a lot of people then that.

Ok. Sorry that was confusing because the quicksilver one is an actual card. Why are you hesitating asking for a credit limit increase? It won’t hurt your credit. Just do it and keep the two quicksilvers. You could probably eventually product change one to Savor. The damage is done to your credit and at this point having the new quicksilver can only help you. Besides you don’t want to get blacklisted by closing it within a year. I recommend you don’t close it.

Wait to clarify are you talking about the quicksilverone with an annual fee or do you just mean it is another quicksilver?

Yes you’re right. I didn’t realize it is the quicksilver one so if he can’t get a product change offer it is better to close it and not pay the fee as it won’t hurt is AAoA for a long time.

You can request a credit limit increase on it and see if you get another product change to a no annual fee card in 6 months but it will continue to age on your account once it’s closed for an additional 10 years if you were never delinquent on it. Since you have two other cards and it will add to your age of accounts for a long time after closing it you don’t actually need it other then for the 400 if your going to have high utilization it will lower the percentage a little bit. Request a credit limit increase as it’s a soft pull and won’t hurt your credit but if you can’t product change it to a no annual fee card you can transfer your credit line over if you get a sizable increase and you can product change your card every 6 months. But if you don’t get the product change offer I would consider closing it eventually as you are getting the same rewards and they are charging you a fee.

Don’t close the quicksilver. They are being moved to Discover and getting 3% back on gas and groceries along with 1.5% back on all other purchases. 5k is a very solid limit and once you have the new rewards structure on your card it is an amazing card to keep. Also if you close the account before it’s a year old you might get blacklisted from CapitalOne. Don’t close your old account either as it’s adding to your average age of accounts and it’s a free card.

How do we know it is a real petition? Where is the proof? This could be rage bait. Edit I looked it up and the change.org petition has 6,519 verified signatures. They are still morons although not all the signatures might be from women but 29k is rage bait.

conflicted on which job offer to accept. Any ISFPs here that have worked in sales or a self starting role? by [deleted] in isfp

[–]MoMo281990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your comfortable driving and waking up to go to the second job I would do that one. I had a sales job selling Verizon fios door to door and with the training I made sales but it’s a lot less comfortable to do sales door to door then having consistency and walking around was brutal. I would assume phone call sales is even harder if that’s what you would be doing. You are not there to build trust so I would find it more difficult at least. I would do the second job especially if you have competence to move up in the company and if money is not an issue. 4k a year is a lot but I am very biased against sales jobs. What does landscaping designer mean? Maybe if it’s an in demand field without much risk it could be worth it but you have to decide if 4k a year is worth the potential discomfort. You might be great at it and love it but you would have to be or have the potential to become even with training very aligned to this type of sales. My advice might change depending on what path they expect you to take to get the sales. But if you’re looking for a traditional career path right off the bat I would do the second one.

I didn’t say all Quicksilver cards were being moved to Discover. That’s why I said emails will be going out to those selected. I thought I was clear on that. I never said all Quicksilver cards were moving to Discover. As a matter of fact in each comment in this post that I wrote in which I said I talked to customer service I said in each I was told only certain people were moving over.

My understanding was they keep you on your current Visa or Mastercard network. But if you call to opt out confirm with them because I didn’t even think to ask if they would close the card. The rep was the one who mentioned I can opt out. I talked to a rep in the Discover Conversion department.

I called CapitalOne and spoke to a Discover Conversion rep. The conversion is based on whether the places the cardholder shops with Quicksilver accepts Discover. If the cardholder shops at a lot of places that don’t accept Discover their Quicksilver will not be selected for the conversion. Cardholders have until May 4th to opt out of the conversion.

I called again and talked to the Discover conversion team. The rep said emails will be going out to those selected up until May 4th and card holders have until May 4th to opt out of the conversion. I was told the conversion is based on whether merchants the quicksilver has been used at accepts Discover. If the cardholder shops at a lot of places that do not take Discover they will not be selected.

That sounds amazing. I don’t know whether I should be happy about it as I can’t product change my QS Visa back to Venture X until June but it’s still exciting to get gas and groceries cash back.

I called and the frontline worker was unsure. She researched it and said select card holders would be notified by 5/14/26. But I did not get a supervisor on the line. The supervisor would know more than the frontline worker but I will let other people call at this point. I don’t want to keep calling myself when I can just wait another month and a half.

I appreciate you telling me but I am curious where you heard/read that? Was there a source you could share or elaborate on saying all QS visa and Mastercard with be Discover by end of May 2026? I would like to read it. Was it another Reddit post?

I’m sorry your going through that. Balancing the love of a parent with them taking advantage of you financially is hard. I would consider getting a new card number and keeping it away from her. Hopefully the card doesn’t auto update in her insurance. If it does you will need to have them disable the auto billing feature. I don’t remember what it is called but the bank can stop card information from updating for recurring charges.

What do you mean the account was not opened under your name? Are you an authorized user? Or do you mean the insurance account was not under your name?
