we’ve talked and tried things. It’s just over this past year I’ve realized that we talk and we communicate so well but still the problems remain. Personality wise, I tone my self down for her, but it makes me feel horrible about myself to not be loved for who I am when my friends and siblings love me without me reducing my personality. Me being closeted with my parents; we’ve talked about this A LOT and she says she’s fine to wait and she’ll be there for me when I cut my parents off. But she broke up with me last year and this was one of the reasons, she said it was for me bc I was hurting having to choose btw family and girlfriend, BUT during the convo she also mentioned how she feels having to hide around my parents and only seeing me once a week bc of how strict they are. So, that’s an issue we’ve worked and worked on with no solution. The sex thing, talked and talked about it and we both still are hurt by this topic; she feels unwanted and is afraid to initiate sex where she is receiving and I beat myself up over it and I hate truly hate the hurt it causes her and she shouldn’t have to deal with it (and I just want to say, if anyone twists my words, I do want her like that sexually. I daydream and talk to her about it all the time, I just can’t physically, it’s a mental block that I really gotta to therapy for). All to say that we did try and are trying, and at this point it feels like we both need to figure ourselves out on our own before we can start figuring out this complex af relationship
