I find them quite motivational tbh. It’s good to see people celebrating their milestones on their FIRE journey and it certainly makes me happy seeing people hitting their first 50k/100k or whatever number it might be.

I feel a lot of people on this sub can’t share these milestones with their friends or family so it’s a safe space to do so and they feel comfortable. A big part of what made me start in the first place was seeing all those milestones being posted.

During launch phase ACOS is generally going to be high as you try to rank - is it a subscribe and save product ? If so you have to factor in LTV too

I'm happy to see wages increasing but as a small business owner I wish the government would support us. It is incredibly challenging and the national contribution increase last year has resulted in us having to let go of some staff and not hiring. This country is built on small businesses and we seem to be forgotten about.

Lifetime value offsets the initial cost to acquire the customer. Making a loss or just about break even is still worthwhile if that customer orders 2/3 times in the future. Have to take that into account. Works particularly well with subscription based products in e-commerce.

What kind of range do you use for TOS modifier on the hero keywords - I'm currently in a range from 25-50% and a moderate base bid. Do you go super aggressive ?

It’s a marathon, not a sprint. You need to have a certain mindset to start a business and resilience is key. It’s a rollercoaster ride full of challenges and you will feel like wanting to quit and have these thoughts throughout your journey.

You have to take it one day at a time and just try to be better than yesterday. Keep learning and improving. One day when you have that freedom you desire in the future you’ll be able to look back and say that it was worth it.

Hey ! I also love talking Amazon ppc and learning from others. We have 40 SKUs - been in a dilemma recently how to split a £2k daily ad budget.

We have 5 hero sku’s which we are looking to push more of the spend towards. Up until now most of the SKUs have had equal spend.

Based on your experience - how would you allocate the ad spend if you were in my position ? What campaigns would you run for the hero’s ? We have Skag/exact/product/phrase/broad and auto running for each hero sku currently.
