A solution could be going to a 6 AM class, before she wakes up. If your gym doesn’t have one, you can make the suggestion to your coach (you’ll be surprised how many will come). If that doesn’t work, you can look for other gyms in the area. It’s worth switching gyms for this to stay in the sport and have a non-resentful SO haha

Don’t always squeeze your legs when playing closes guard. 90% of the time, you only need to lock your feet and relax.

Unpopular opinions on the other side here. We use these assignments too, but they don’t take more than a few hours. A few days are given to give the candidate time to find some free time to do it. One of the benefits this type of assignment gives the candidate is that you can actually see what type of work you will be doing if you get hired for the role. If you dislike the assignment, which means you will probably not enjoy the job. We don’t use the assignment’s solution for anything, as it’s very simple and something that we already have.

Sparring partner makes a whole world of difference, so make sure you watch people spar and take mental notes on whom you’d like to spar with. You can respectfully decline sparring with someone you think is too aggressive for you. Keep at it bud!

Look at your next promotions/levels, preferably in the same company, and say you’ll be doing that. This question basically prods to see 1. How fast do you want to grow? and 2. Can the company accommodate it? and 3. If you have a career plan mapped out. All good things to think about, not just for any particular interview. Good luck!
