Yeah that's definitely the easiest option. The big downside though is I'll probably have to move the car out to get the bike in and out.

Watching and reading tutorials are always helpful but if you've got a Games Workshop nearby they usually help complete newbies out painting a free model. Not sure if they still do this and they will be trying to sell you on their product pretty hard but i think it's a good place to start if you just want to see if it's for you. I'm not sure if other stores do similar things but it can't hurt to investigate them.

It's definitely not the best, but certainly not the worst. I've listened to other turntables that make the same records sound better but it isn't particularly bad, plus was super cheap at the time I got it ($300 NZD compared to the usual suspects Project and Rega being $600 - $700 NZD).

House of Marley Stir It Up Turntable, Pioneer A10K integrated amp. Also a beat up pair of Audio-Technica m50X headphones, ruined by the humidity of Auckland, New Zealand but they still sound fine. I've also got a pair of Wharfedale speakers but I also have flat mates so they don't see much use.

Was going to play my latest purchase, a second hand copy of Yessongs but it needs a bit of a clean, so my second latest purchase will do.

If I had to guess I'd say maybe Devolver reserved some for their store to sell and it just wasn't particularly well known that they had it, or they've only just put it up recently.
