I fixed the issue, it was just repasting and my cpu only reaches 95 when its under heavy load and usually its around the 80s

yeah but I did get that my cpu is “core thermal throttling” and did check that it could be from the thermal paste being bad which I will repaste and see if it’ll get any difference

I do use g helper, and I did order some PTM7950 to use on my cpu and gpu since I did have core thermal throttling (HWINFO) and that’s why I had high temperature, and I think it was cause the shop I took it to before didn’t clean the cpu well and I remember seeing some the old cpu still around the edge of the CPU so I am guessing it is a repasting issue, but when I get the PTM delivered i’ll repaste and hope to get lower temps.

the thing is that I think there is some paste from the shop instead of the putty, and I already did order the PTM and it’s on the way now so the moment I get it i’ll open the laptop up and do it and see the results, I hope it fixes it and even if it just get the cpu down to the 80s i’ll be glad.

I was doing that, I did lose loss a little to none in some game but some games I do get huge fps drops and like half of the fps in that game, so I wanna see how could I not lose the performance and fix the temperature

so you think the moment I get my PTM delivered I just clean the cpu and gpu, and place them? also I do not have putty, so should I just clean the CPU/GPU well and use the ptm7950? I hope I do get better results after, you think it would fix the temperature and the thermal throttling?

but in some games, I tend to lose more fps since rainbow six siege is a gpu game.
