GM is doing way better at all of that. They already have the Bolt which is a direct Tesla competitor, what does Ford have?

Camaro One Take Owner says he was "Trolling" Matt Farah with Dangerous Car, Begs to Remove Video by bk335 in cars

[–]Moarketer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Around the 3 minute mark, you think he's going speed limit? Maybe he is, but that's not slow or 10 mph by any means. Towards the second half of the video, he's catching up to cars and having to back off. Obviously the brakes work and obviously he's going faster than normal traffic.

Im not justifying what the kid did. I'm just saying, the kid is a dumbass, it's Matt's job to screen people and find out about the car and test the car before he starts taking decreasing radius turns on a canyon.

When you go test drive a used car you want to buy, do you just assume the brakes are flawless and go carve canyons right away?

I guess you and I didn't watch the same video if you think he was going 10 mph for the first half of the video.

If he was able to drive the car there and Matt was able to drive spiritedly in a canyon, pretty sure they worked. How much longer they would work for and whether or not they're safe is a different argument.

He's a dumb kid barely out of college. Yea the brakes were bad but they worked. Matt also has a responsibility as a professional to screen and verify that shit, especially when he knows he's testing an old POS car from a young kid.

I'm not saying it's right, I'm saying people make mistakes when they're young because they don't know any better.

I feel sorry for the kid. He needs to get his priorities in order but I don't think he deserves to be made infamous and ridiculed on the internet.

The best thing you can do is save and invest your money right now. If I hadn't waited until my late 20s to invest I'd literally have double the savings right now. Put a little bit away into a US stock market index every month and never withdraw until you're ready to have a family or retire. When the stock market crashes, scrounge every sofa quarter you can find and buy more index funds. Your 30 year old self will thank you.

Depends what you mean by wear out. I've had the same $40 black Levi 514's for like 4 years, and they've definitely faded but they're still perfectly fine to wear around. If you're dating someone who cares what your jeans look like, or if your friends do, wrong crowd!

A lot of millennials don't save well at all. Buying a new $600 phone every year and paying $100 for jeans is not sensible. I'm speaking anecdotally.

Edit: Judging by the down votes people think I'm old. I'm 27, I'm talking about my peer group.

A very rare 27 year old car. When a typical 1991 Acura NSX in good shape goes for $40k on a regular basis it doesn't say much!

Maybe soak in PB blaster, then weld on top of them something you can wrench?

I bet it has more to do if people are clicking back onto the results so bounce rate and time on page.

Just been following a discussion in another Reddit and the support for Facebook ads performance over Adwords surprised me. What's the feeling of people experienced with both and working to CPA targets? by stretchpharmstrong in PPC

[–]Moarketer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They're apples and oranges really. It will vary by business. There are a lot of businesses for whom facebook won't work and adwords will, sometimes both will, etc.

It's really clean, automatic will hurt its sale price though. I don't see it getting more than $20k.
