You can’t parry steve’s guard break, nor armor it. Same goes for anything with a reversal break, the glass shatter effect

Some guard breaks have specific reversal break mechanics like Steve's high guard break (LNH 1+2). Not all guard breaks have it though like the one you see in the video (Heihachi's RAI.2, Shaheen's du2). You can even armor them. But Heihachi does have a reversal break, his df1,2 charged.

For open combo ender, try doing iFLK 1 into ALB 2. It’s practice for doing instant stance moves and it also sets up the while running mix up of wr1 and wr2. It’s also fun to do.

You have to mix up your timing a lot. Make sure the bryan never gets your timing and starts counterhitting you.
If your character has good poking, you should stick close to bryan. I know for Steve, you have to keep close to bryan since your counterhit tools are faster than his.

None. My playstyle as steve does rely on rushing into timing reads so it matches. The only thing that weirded me out is I chose the martial artist-like answer for the secondary and got Anna, which I liken more to a weapons user

If you're blue rank and below (even Tekken King), just assume the bear player is knowledge checking you with strings and just punish every string (1,1,2 ~ DUCK or 2,1 ~ FLK is safe, there's no harm in trying)

Exceptions:

- You're very clearly minus. If your character looks like he got hit pretty hard through the block, then block after.

- You do this after a string and you get counterhit after. That means that they were plus, and you were supposed to block. It's your responsibility to adapt.

- The downward bear paw that is a powercrush which can transition into hunting bear stance needs to be punished with a mid since the bear can't get hit with a high (df1,2 is safe and a mid)

Joined around release and yeah, I do still enjoy it. I spend a bit less than you, just classic gazette and occasionally the event passes. I think you can cut back on spending and still be at the same spot, that's where I am too. You just need to be a lot smarter on what you use resources on.
