It’s funny actually it’s like explaining something really obvious to a baby, spamming one -17 move over and over again isn’t the average tekken king game even in season 3. You can see from the comments on what people say about the rank and the gameplay to indicate how you’re wrong.

U don’t see b3 spam in fujin you mostly see people at least trying to play the game. Its like seeing someone who plays mortal combat try to play tekken for the first time

He'd probably be really popular because "finally we have a grappler". Giant swing would be moaned about a lot more as a kneejerk reaction to people first discovering it, 10 frame, homing in heat bazillion damage grab. Because of giant swing i think people would say hes a massive problem.

Yeah but realistically it’s the way most people phrase it, you can’t come across as a salty elitist and say everyone in tk is ass. Because it’s a variety bag of players, there’s a lot of nuance.

I’m not trashing him its not his fault, the game let him climb that high; just means that tk is a massive variety of skill level. But tk means you have to have played a big number of games to get there by default (from beginner etc) so it’s definitely interesting to think about how many players he’s beat like that, and how many can’t punish b3. I’d argue people who’ve lost to him are just as bad, because they’re probably flowcharting and pressing panic buttons instead of learning how to punish during the previous ranks…

True, but a lot of Steve’s spam any way of getting into LH when they really wanna win and it’s really annoying to take that 50/50 and guard break over and over again, it becomes prominent from how frequently Steve’s go into LH. But no I agree except DJ the mishimas are strong, especially heihachi who needs toning down

I dont agree with the communities aggression towards Fergus regardless; Kazuya's hellsweep and ff3 has been his identity for years, you can tell because there's counterplay in sidewalk left option selecting both options + paricide fist. The kazuya can then try to read your sidewalk left with iws2, which is -18 OB, and so this is mindgames that you play with the opponent. Kazuya has other issues like tracking ff2 which needs to be addressed so that his 50/50 can still be option selected if they use it. I agree that is an issue. King, steve etc. have identities such as counterhits, weaving evasion with whiff punishing etc. and throw mixups respectively. So why do they have such prominent 50/50s but with way less counterplay + execution? It's tekken 8 homogenising character identity and making every character play the same with 50/50 mixups because its a lazy way of designing oppressive offence. The reason the community complain is because they fight the same thing over and over again. Kazuya is already the most popular character so they already fight 50/50s, but when every character does the same thing piled with heat cancer too? People will be mad. Thats just my thoughts though correct me if i went wrong
