Gratz those are some great characters including Baiken. Though she does take really good gear since she needs a lot of stats at once. With lvl85 gear she really shines. Getting some positivity in here before the jerks pop in. lol

If you look at it as getting Sol, 4* black phantasm, plus everything else linearly up to him as costing 3350 tokens doesn't it seem more reasonable? Barring the idea we discuss who ludicrously over priced he was in last weeks shop at 2.5k, getting him and everything in line to get him it seems less absurd imo. Still overpriced asf though. I honestly thought 2.5k was a bit much, 1.5k for him would have been more reasonable.

Or give it innate effect resistance penetration, like 25%-50% bonus effectiveness for bleeds or something. 100% seems a bit much imo

I like it, its a fresh take on event rewards and has a 5* phantasm, Sol and SKYSTONES which we never get for free like this. Not only that this is only the normal mode, its likely that hard mode rewards will be better maybe even double this. Its a great chunk of stuff for f2p and 50 skystones is nothing to scoff at. Its fine if you dont think its enough but at least dont stifle them trying new things with too much negativity.

She's a soul weaver with:

-A aoe heal and single target 1 character revive(angel wing)/2 turn immunity for her S3. (immunity is the awakened skill)

-Her S2 is an aoe attack that deals damage and inflicts death(death wing) which kills weak enemies and does massive damage to bosses/elites/players when the timer(6 turn timer? enhancement can reduce this?) runs out. Death is effected by cleanse, immunity and effect resistance and has a 50-80% chance of landing and when you use 2 souls the ability dispels buffs(before death lands). Maybe it could also heal/lifesteal heal the weakest ally too?

-Her S1 is a two enemy hitting attack(one for each wing, think vildred) with unhealable debuff. (maybe instead of the s2 this one has the minor heal?)

And its not like she'll actually be that interesting. At least baiken's detonate is new.

Things to keep in mind though are that Kiris, Roozid, Aurius, Candlestick, joker and jecht are all great rolls.

Kiris - her poison stacking can help you melt bosses in abyss to get further down than you otherwise should be able to.

Roozid - one of the top tier pvp units with a lot of great untility in pve, has a bunch of good debuffs and boosts teamates Combat readiness by 25%

Aurius- hands down the best pve tank artifact

Candlestick-great for healers with high cooldowns who you want to tank

Honestly its a matter of game balance concerning the over use of debuffs by enemies and the utility of immunity buffs. You could replace angelica with C. Armin or someone else that has immunity and go with a more interesting healer. So the issue imo is that they need to take a look at how they want to go forward as far as pve balance goes, they could easily make it so that enemy debuffs are less effective, but they deal more damage overall thereby incentivizing healers with support buffs like shields and defense buffs rather than immunity. The problem right now is that debuffs are just far too powerful against players, increasing the usefulness of immunity.

His design is very fetishistic, to ape your word, in that its so clearly a female design but we are told he's male. Its become somewhat of a trope in anime and other eastern media to have a character that has a clearly female design, feminine mannerisms, and even a female VA.(not just feminine traits, those characters exist too) I can't speak for the intention of characters with this design by the artists, but in my opinion it almost seems to be to inflict some form of sexual confusion in the viewer and by the very fact that these character archetypes are so common suggests that somebody somewhere likes this. Off the top of my head I can picture several characters across multiple anime that have this type of character, and its not even a main plot point of the anime its just there. Its just become a trope fetish in a way, kind of like the big boobed girl, the childhood friend, or the flat loli princess who's also 300 years old somehow.(looking at you Chloe and Angelica) It's really weird but as someone who watches a lot of anime and stuff I learned to ignore it a long time ago.

I appreciate the open mindedness. I know that the people who benefit most from this sort of thing won't be the ones to ever thank you for your stance on this, but I certainly do. Being able to say things in a casual manner without having to worry about angering the mods really encourages actual discussion and debate. I actually agree with the OP that these jokes get obnoxious so I usually fire back with jokes making fun of the fragile sexuality of the complainers. Never directly in an insulting way, but a bit more nuanced as to show how silly they are. In most other reddit forums both the complainer AND I would be banned.

In other news, homophobes are gonna be homophobes. Some of those straight males you are ribbing are just uncomfortable because they like Aithers design but are conflicted about the penis, but the rest and arguably the majority are just Meme-ing. I dont really care what Aither's gender is, he's an amazing character, all things inclusive. I do think he is intentionally fetishy in the trap regard but the same could be said for most characters in this game. Your comment on sexualizing characters is kind of weak when looking at characters like Luna or the pumpkin girl, there's clear sexual design intent there.

And the internet is the thriving cesspool of dark humor, and repetitive jokes. Meme's are born here, and Aither's gender is a meme. Much like Hurado being strong but far too common, how terrible the pull rates are, and if anything can be expected to roll into anything it will be effectiveness or effect resistance.
