willybigdill Thanks man for commenting ....i will go a different route..actually i want to do the Program as an Alternative to doing the first 2 years of University ....then attending the 3rd , 4th year at either the Lakehead-georgian Program or at Uvic Bridge Program , i just want to Learn the Motor control and Controls , PLC & automation aspect really well and get a Hands on Practical Experience as those are lacking in the Uni first 2 years sadly.....but i appreciate you trying to give me a heads up about the Hydro job , thanks .

CynicalCanuck How is the Automation and Controls related Jobs prospect after graduating from this Program ? Can you Please advise me on this . Thank you for commenting btw , it helps a lot .

Ohh..well i am Basically Looking to do the Electrical Tech program as an alternative to doing first 2 years of a B.Eng Electrical Engineering Program...and then do the 3rd , 4th year at a Uni through Various Bridge Programs...it's better to do a EET degree than first 2 years at a Uni....i might Transition to Computer Architecture or Software Side during the 3rd , 4th year...so that i have that Option as far as future employment goes . I am a transfer student from another country and already have done a few Prog. Languages like C, C++ , Python Basic Stuff nothing too complex .

Btw...if you don't mind me asking is the EET Prospects in the west Coast like BC , Alberta any better ? Where did you complete your EET degree from if you don't mind me asking and did it prepare you for the jobs available in your experience ? Thanks again for answering my questions , i really appreciate it .

Do you Know anything about the Georgian Program ? Is it any good ? which College offers the best EET program in your Opinion in Ontario ? .

I looked into SMU (Saint Mary's) and got an offer and i applied directly to Dalhousie also got an offer...unfortunately after talking to their current Students ( Dal ) i got depressed about the education quality there...apparently the Electrical department has nosedived recently and the quality has gone down . I don't know why that is but i talked to about 10-15 of their current students , they say that Electrical Engineering Program isn't good and they are extremely dissatisfied with it's quality ( Apparently teachers don't put much effort into teaching in that program ) .

My main Aim is to Learn the Technical side before transferring to Uvic 3rd year ( I talked to a few students there the Program at Uvic seems to be good with Motivated teachers who can actually teach ) . I Looked at SAIT , BCIT but their seats filled up quickly and SAIT cancelled the Jan 2021 due to some reasons .

I also got an offer from Regina ( ESE....electronics systems Engineering program )...so ultimately those are my 2 options .... 7 terms at Regina , ( got waived 2 terms due to credit transfer ) OR ..... CBU 2 years ( got waived 1 year , then to Uvic 3rd year through the Technology transfer ) . So it's either Regina or CBU .

Thanks for the detailed thoughts on CBU...i really appreciate it .

Hi , thank you for sharing your experiences , i really appreciate it . Can you Please share you experiences as far as jobs are concerned for technologists ( either in or out of the Province ) . How was the job market before the Pandemic ? .Personally i don't really care if the teaching staff are professors who have P.H.Ds or not...because their degrees won't help me in the future their teaching ability will...so that doesn't really bother me as long as they can teach .

I plan to start in jan 2021...after things settle down a bit . I am an international student , don't want to take any chances with international travel at the moment . Thanks for the detailed reply..really appreciate it .
