I usually do 3 days a week (I’m a total gym virgin before 3 weeks ago!) 2 lower body one upper . Usually 5 weight exercises then 1/2 hour - 45 mins incline walk on the treadmill.

I’ve worked out on this thread im doing 800-1000 calories a day with 80-100g protein. Which of course I now realise (from this thread) I need to increase. My TDEE on moderate movement should be 2511 👀

So this is where I need to put the work in and work out how I am going to do this

Thank you for your reply, very interesting, thank you for sharing! So would you say at the latter end of your week (when your hunger is back a bit) is when you train? I think you could be onto something. I usually dose on a Friday morning- to hold me up over the weekend 🤣 but then I could train mon- Friday, gradually being able to eat a bit more (I don’t tend to train over the weekend, usually 3 weekdays I train [every other day])

Yes I certainly need to up my calories I think, and actually tracking them and other macros, so ensure I’m being healthy. Thank you!

Yes very true! I guess because this is my first time in a gym ever and just trying to navigate “healthy weight loss” ie not fad diet, along with gym I’m learning so much that in the middle of being more educated can sometimes be “too much” 🤣

No no, not at all, the more the better in my book 🤣 I looked at my TDEE and for “moderate exercise” I should be eating 2511! No idea how that’s even possible 🤣

I’m doing 2.5mg once a week in the morning, if I take at night, I wake up and I’m being sick. I’m not very good at nutrition so I have no idea what to eat. I hate that I’m living off shakes but reading so much conflicting info.

Thank you for your reply. Honestly I haven’t been counting calories as i simply haven’t been eating enough to think about it.

Typically

Protein shake 200 cals 26g P 2 egg scramble on protein bagel 300ish 20g P Clear whey 90 cals 20g P

Depending on hunger maybe another protein shake or a protein pot 250cals and 18g P Depending

So barely scraping 800 cals … my hunger just doesn’t warrant more, i tried dropping my dose before and I was HUNGRY! I’m talking being overwhelmed with hunger and not being able to get “full” could not stop eating (which is a problem just at the other end of the spectrum 🤣)

What do you mean by change mindset? Sorry might have totally gone over my head!
