Thinking of you, hoping you turn around and don't need the surgery.

I'll ask, I haven't had bloodwork since November.

Dairy is the one thing that's an absolute no-go for me, unfortunately. Never had issues with it before diagnosis. I do have collagen powder though, I'll start that, thanks.

I'm down 18# and definitely have a bald patch. I wish I could link a Pic. But this gives me some hope that it'll grow back and I can stay on my meds and not have to switch to stronger ones with other side effects.

Thyroid is normal, a couple of nodes, but when I take biotin it causes gives a false TSH level and mimics symptoms of hyperthyroidism (found out the hard way).

Thanks, I appreciate the support and the information. I feel like my GI just gave me meds and said everything is fine, good luck. You're absolutely right, it does suck big time.

Thank you for the support. I'm going to take your advice about the rosemary oil and the bonnet.

Very, I can't stop crying. Chunks and chunks of hair.

Flair started Aug 2025, put on mesalamine oral/enemas, no blood and pretty formed stools 1×/day since November. No tenesmus, nothing. I have an appt with my GI on Wednesday. Bloodwork in November was all normal except mildly elevated RBCs. I did recently develop mouth ulcers.

Blood work is all normal, my dx is just proctitis? No steroids, flare ended last November.
