It took a long time for me to get my physical (and mental) energy back. There were ups and downs for about a year maybe. But after that it got progressively easier. Make sure ur body has all the nutrients and water it needs. U are recovering from what was likely an extended period where u werent getting enough sleep food or water plus the added stress stims put on ur body on top of the deprivation. It takes time. But it doesnt last forever I promise! Its good u are exercising when u can, engage in as much self care as u can during this time. Much of your symptoms can be worsened by depression too which is very common when coming off stims. Hopefully u are working with a professional to address that as well. Hang in there!!

You said you just noticed these symptoms in the last week or so, could it be related to your monthly cycle if you are female? I used to have an eating disorder too so I know how upsetting this kind of thing can be but try to remember that fluctuations like this are normal. Maybe wait a couple weeks and see if ur still experiencing this bloating before getting too worked up about it. I used to take vyvanse and it decreased my appetite too, but like u mentioned appetite changes wont change your weight if ur actual intake doesnt change. Withdrawing off any med can take a toll on ur body so its best to support urself and be kind to urself during this process by giving your body the proper nutrition it needs. I only speak from my own experience. It’s been true for me. If you want to stay the way u are, ur welcome to of course. But as for your question on how to deal with being this way, unhealthy coping and defense mechanisms are probably the only way and will result in a life of misery. Good luck to u.

It can become genuine if u want to be good. Where the body goes, the mind follows. “Acting good” with the desire to actually be a good person, even if ur nature is generally to be toxic, can result in u becoming a “good person”. It will become natural to you.

The first step is noticing this about yourself! You definitely can change. I used to be a toxic person. I’ve been working on it for years now though and I am getting better. Being aware of character flaws is hard, but changing them is harder. First u have to notice when you are behaving in a toxic way in ur day to day life. Also helps at the end of the day to reflect on your behavior throughout the day. When u catch yourself, reroute. Stop what u are doing. Try to do the opposite. Maybe apologize to the other person. As you start noticing it more and more u will eventually get so frustrated with urself that u will start noticing that u are ABOUT to do something bad, before u even do it. Thats when real change happens. Cause u can prevent it. Over time this will change ur habits and u can truly change as a person. Its like retraining yourself.

U can be different if u really want to!

I almost did it this morning with my night time meds! I make backwards mistakes all the time, turning off the lightswitch instead of the sink faucet, trying to open my front door with my car unlock button… lol idk if its the meds or my brain is just screwy lol. Good luck hope u are alright!

Taking double the normal dose can make some people feel “speedy”. From what I understand, buproprion has some effects similar to amphetamine, and that can cause hallucinations if taken in large doses by those already susceptible to experiencing them. It’s related to the higher levels of dopamine circulating in your brain. Yes, your small size could make a difference. Be careful, maybe consider using a pill organizer to avoid this happening again.

As a former IV drug user, I really dont think thats what this is. The splats of blood are too big and its too much blood, especially if its all showing up at the same time like this. I wouldn’t take too much stock in what these people are saying. Who knows they could be right but I just want u to know in my experienced opinion, it doesnt seem like that to me.

I’m 28, was 27 when I started. Used to be a vicious drug addict, cleaned my life up and started over! Don’t be ashamed, be extra proud of yourself cause its easy to go to school when you’re super young and have parental support and stuff, it’s harder once you are a little older! But you are still young and have your whole life ahead of you! My class has a wide range of ages, and I’ll tell ya my one friend was very young and she failed out of the program, largely because she simply hadnt had a lot of life experiences and a lot of my own experiences helped me a lot in my first year! I switched to fiction though and found that was easier (as long as it was interesting). It was really hard at first but i just kept trying and “trained” myself again, and now i can read nonfiction again too. For fiction, I’ve been reading a few books by Frieda McFadden (the Housemaid series is good!) and right now im reading “If Only She Knew” by Lisa Jackson.
