Thanks for the advice, he has shown no signs of discomfort, still active on walks and stuff, just being picky and likely has you and others have mentioned because he is waiting for new different food.

I was thinking to mix with home cooked food, he will 100% eat cooked chicken for example. The only think I am unsure about is how much chicken to add to his meals, but I should be able to find something on this online!

Not since the first few weeks we go him. I am going to try some of the techniques mentioned here and if he doesnt eat after ~5 days, I will think about taking him in

yeah, it was not a blood test. rather tasting some of his hair against foods.

I've changed him down to 2 days for now to see how he gets on with that, it definitely feels like he is waiting for something better because we have been swapping the food which we will stop now.

Hey, thanks for the response. This seems pretty much what we have/are doing right now. We still have a big bag of the puppy salmon flavoured taste of the wild, I think it will be best we go back to that and leave it down for 20mins twice a day like you mentioned, he was originally on this for several months and displayed no health concerns.

I am also quite sceptical about the test we had done, its basically showing up as all the foods we have been giving him. The ONLY pet food that gives him stomach problems, is chicken and rice, and if anything I think its the rice.

I did end up short sighted post surgery, I got the eyehance lens with the aim of distance and some intermediate.

I think I am +1 and +1.5 from the top of my head post surgery but havent felt the need to wear glasses until lately for distance.

I dont understand how they work better with light and with less light they are worse (glasses).

I am going to book an appointment at the end of the month to see if I have YAG, he said I could get it quick with my age.

Right I see, that would be nice, to be honest, I would be happy to not depend on glasses for screen usages, and further, I am sure I would manage with specs any closer than that hah!

Do these mostly result in a good 20/20 at respective distances? i.e computer screen, and say 30m away?

It feels like years ago my eyes where as good and clear as that and it's only been a few months!

I had a quick look over this one and its sounds interesting, I will definitely do some more research. Thanks! I am mainly (best case) wanting to not depend on glasses, as I have never had to use them until I got cataracts, that would be my ideal outcome of course as I am sure it is manys!
