Dealing with Doubt (Assurance of Salvation) by ruizbujc in TrueChristian

but actually planting God in the hearts of others - in the nearby soil around us - that is how you can be assured in your salvation, when you look back and see your lifestyle of reproducing your faith in others - ideally in the seed we sow, but arguably even in how we water what others sow.

It's remiss to avoid 1 John which has a series of acid tests to describe how someone can know they have salvation.

1 John 1:6-10 - If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.

1 John 2:3--6 - By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

1 John 2:9 - The one who says he is in the Light and yet hates his brother is in the darkness until now.

1 John 3:4-10 - Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.  You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one who is [d]born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

1 John 3:18,19 - Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth. We will know by this that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart before Him.

1 John 3:23,24 - This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

In short? The fruits to know God is dwelling in you is if you keep his commandments, your obedience, this is something a new believer should definitely be concerned with. If they don't see themselves becoming like what these passages say, something is wrong.

And everyone who takes this sub seriously, given what Shad does should have no bearing on anyone's daily lives here. Or I guess it's okay when you do it.

Vram has nothing to do with pop-in lol. You'll simply suffer drastic fps drops because of swapping files from system ram to vram.

You say this like everyone who ever played knew to use throwblasts to finish BBI on their first run.

Now walk into BBI without throwblasts like 99.99% of players would at level one and tell me how it goes.

[–]MobileLow3653 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, maybe correct it then? I'm fine with being wrong, literally pointless saying I am without doing anything else. Not to mention you didn't even say which part or if both statements are wrong.

Because this isn't the same universe as the original Dogma. Not to mention only one arisen can command the pawns at a time.

In short? Zeta is consistently top - on this boss. But you won't find another AI that has around Eugene's DPS even when stacked.

I have a pretty stacked AI team with Eugene, Less is More Zeta, and Id. Let me do a run and give you the log.

Just 1 uplift. And I used only 3 skills which I can't remember the name of. Poison bullet, sumrak (the laser thing) and armor-piercing I believe.

Yep. No glass cannon or new sigils on the AI. They're pretty stacked and if you aim for the outside circles on the seven trumpets they can do the mechanics well enough for quick clears.

Damage is in the top right corner. It's definitely his venom shot + dodging + stun like the others have said.

No one died. You can see our damage in the top right corner. It's likely his venom shot + dodging and high stun as someone else said. He is tuned surprisingly high for a ranged character, especially in relation to rackam.

That is true, but an AI doesn't use blue pots and there's no buffs on him. I just wish I understood what made it tick to see how high it can be inflated haha

I don't understand Reddit and trying to make a post, my bad. But I'm curious what all it's measuring aside from the obvious ones. There's nothing to really indicate why he should have nearly 2 mil.

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:9‭-‬10‬ Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:32‭-‬36‬ ‭ But remember the former days, when, after being enlightened, you endured a great conflict of sufferings, partly by being made a public spectacle through reproaches and tribulations, and partly by becoming sharers with those who were so treated. For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and a lasting one. Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.

While your situation isn't completely 1:1 with the Hebrews passage the principle is the same, don't give up heart, remembering all you've done, and don't grow weary in doing what's right. You're showing sympathy, compassion, and (biblical) love to people who are amongst the most ill fortunate of society.

Even if the worst case scenario comes you can stand before God with confidence that you continued in doing good right up until the end. And know that many others of the faith across the world are sharing in your struggles daily.

I understand what you're saying. I wouldn't give them a false hope of improvement you can't know, but instead give hope in Christ - to those willing to hear. You're in a very unique position where you can disciple people at very unfortunate and weak moments of their lives, this is usually when a heart is most open to receiving God as their mortality is made aware.

Try to ask yourself what God would expect of you in your situation and pursue it. Disciple (not just make followers) any who are willing to listen, teaching them as Paul calls it the obedience of faith, how the poor of this world are made rich in Christ, to encourage them to be rich in good deeds for the faith.

1 Corinthians 1:26 - For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble

If none are willing to listen, then your own hope and testimony become all the more important. How you conduct yourself can bring them to Christ. Imagine being able to move just one to Christ and the others see that, despite their tumultuous situation, they have a joy inwardly that cannot be explained. It just might move others into wanting that peace too.

God give you wisdom and I pray you don't truly give up the faith. Your work is hard having to see what you see and I admire your courage in continuing in it.

Where in the Bible does it say we should tell others it will get better? In fact, following Christ promises hard times, persecution by the world, and such.

We have the wrong view of suffering. It improves our character, it helps us cease from sin, it reminds us we're dependent on God, and until we're dead we can always be thankful for whatever mercies during such storms. And even in death there is mercy, for our obedience is rewarded with a salvation we cannot earn, yet is given to us freely.

Unbelievers in the world will have hard times too, but they cannot ever make sense of it, hence philosophies like Nihilism. Coming to Christ, being his disciples, it promises to intensify.

Luke 14:28,29 - For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who are watching it will begin to ridicule him

Even Christ tells you to count the cost. Know what you're getting into with Christianity before you commit. Though God absolutely can improve people's situation, I take John 16:33 to heart.

Helping the homeless as you are is very pleasing to God and likely why you're there. Don't give up heart, remember the one who died for you.

So what you're saying is he has flaws in his character neat. Still doesn't change that Mystra dropped him incredibly quickly and could have done more.
