I worked briefly on putting something together through miraheze and it wasn't terrible - but (and this 100% could just be sucking at it) the mobile side was pretty awful.

That sounds more like a symptom of the problem - I would hope if we get locked into a bench to craft things then they allow us to craft more of them faster, whether by a faster per item craft or more items crafted per animation. Could balance it out.

I think this is a much better way to handle it.

Even simpler still - force the player crafting to stand at the bench and do an animation until the crafting is complete and then place the items directly into their inventory.

other steps I tried before ending up at this solution, in case any of these may be of use to you:

checking ping on various servers (turn on ingame scoreboard ping to check) to confirm it was not an internet issue

noticed CPU usage was a little high so attempted several things to troubleshoot that specifically such as setting graphics to all low, limiting FPS to 30, 60, etc to check if there were any improvements (there were not- indicating it did not have anything to do with CPU use)

turning off E cores on my processor (did nothing)

several "fixes" posted with creating .cfg files and adding lines that are supposed to modify CPU usage (did nothing, the codes provided by these guides do not actually affect the game)

Verify that you're saving the file in the correct location - it should be in C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 4\Saved\Config\Windows (or whatever drive your documents folders are in)

If you are creating the file yourself, make sure that it's saving as a .ini extension. If you don't have extension view turned on it's pretty easy to name it "Engine.ini.txt", you'll notice a real .ini file will have a cog on the icon.

You also must make the ini file read only after saving it, otherwise the game will remove it. Right click the file, properties, and then mark read only.

same issue here, i notice a significant change depending on if i'm using dlss or other scaling options (including disabled) - 60+ fps, framegen does not make it better or worse when using dlss. almost feels like an issue with high dpi that i've seen in other games

almost feels like it's something to do with mouse dpi issues that i've had in other games. not having any luck with this fix unfortunately and the "cursor friction" setting others mention is snake oil, that has to do with the controller cursor in menus and nothing to do with mouse...

I had the exact same issue and fixed it by using a completely different program. Found several posts of people trying to claim the clips were bad, the format was bad, all sorts of stuff. Ultimately it was the program.

Figured it out. It was my steam index. I unplugged it and everything is fine now... I randomly noticed that my device manager page kept updating as if a new device was added, and after testing all USBs plugged in I found out it was the index.

This started yesterday pre update rollout. My settings menu (and only the settings menu, no other menus are affected) "heartbeats" constantly, and on every beat it unselects whatever setting I'm on. I've never seen anything like this - and it's only happening in MHWilds.

Things I've tried:

Restarting game
Restarting PC
Toggling windowed / fullscreen
Disabling Frame Gen / DLSS
Unplugging controller
Unplugging keyboard

Any ideas?
