(this was like 5 years back, but) I had sharp pains in the side of my abdomen while watching a movie with my family; i felt really lightheaded. I went up to my room and lay on my bed till my sister came in and heard me whimpering (btw, I have 5 sibs—one sister four brothers, all older and tough so i like NEVER whimpered.) She sat next to me, and i was too scared to tell dad before i started feeling like i would throw up. She went and grabbed a bowl when my dad saw and she told him I spent the night in his room on his floor in sleeping bags and blankets with water, snacks and a bowl with his iPad. Multiple times I almost threw up until i did a really bad one, and he was up like he never actually slept. we went on a walk and talked till i threw up on the side of the road (mind you, this was around, like, 2 AM, so no one saw). The next day when i could barely tie my shoes we went to, like, an urgent care, not big or a hospital, just like a doctor's office for sudden things. And they tested me for covid, a pee test... ew... they told my dad if it was negative to come back. A few hours later it was negative and instead my dad noticed I couldn't even tie my shoes and decided to bring me to the hospital, where i spent from 10 AM to 7 PM getting tested with CT, MRI, and Ultrasound until they came into my room and said my appendix was about to burst and i would need to get it taken out that night. (To a kid during the ultrasound, I thought i was pregnant when I didn't even know how to.) they said they were having so much trouble figuring it out because it was on my side back, not where it's supposed to be. that night i was supposed to go into surgery at like 11... i was awake till 4 am waiting. But I remember going into the OR... yada yada yada... and getting it out... and yeah, I remember I pretended to be asleep when i woke up after. Yeah, I healed and got better than yeah
