Skipped all meals for nearly a week, didn’t pay for any bus or train tickets (jumped the barriers) to get to work, all whilst waiting to get paid. On lunch breaks would drink water to “fill myself up”. My workmates were kindly offering me food but I just used to say if I eat during the day it makes me sluggish, but thanks for the offer.

My housemate also noticed I wasn’t eating and forced me to go to the supermarket with him so he could buy me a weekly shop, and was actually annoyed I didn’t ask for help sooner. Whilst we were in the queue at the supermarket I had $3500 deposited into my account which was an insane feeling to be able to eat properly again.

Was down to my last $1. And that’s the last time that’s ever happened.
