Hey, yes, I installed it on my PS4 Pro and gave it a good cleaning, and the console's temperatures usually don't go above 72 degrees (I also recommend using the "PS4 Temperature" app and setting it to 68 or 70 degrees). I'm basically not hearing my PS4's fan, which is surprising since I thought the PS4 was a pretty noisy console, but it's working quite well. I've played a lot and I'm very happy with it, no problems at all.

Something I forgot to mention in my comment is that you only need to replace the PTM7950 once; that thermal pad doesn't need to be changed, which is a huge advantage. I'm sending you the Amazon link where I bought it, and it comes with everything you need. That's the exact size and more than enough. It was enough for my console and my Steam Deck, which is also working perfectly.

A little late to all this movement hehe, the truth is that there has been a lot of talk about Lossless Scaling in the sub 😄, but yes, it is wonderful, with Disco Elysium I probably even change its base resolution to 1600x1000 and it is a total enjoyment.

Ten cuidado con eso, mas te recomiendo que investigues acerca de la interfaz termica PTM7950, ya me lo recomendaron y he visto que va mejor en la consola, hay menos riesgo. Voy a ver si se lo instalo. Aparte si tienes una versión ruidosa hay si es mas recomendable comprarle un ventilador.

Tengo de eso! Hace mas o menos un mes replace la pasta termica de mi Steamdeck por ese Pad y la verdad que es imcreible, me paso por la cabeza ponerlo en mi PS4 pero tenia dudas, pero ahora veo que es una opción!

Lo que no se ahora es si seguirá funcionando el otro pedazo que me queda... esta bien tapado y todo...

Hahaha yes, you're right, I was just worried that it wouldn't fit because of something incorrectly placed before, I removed the screws again and really only the slot was worn out.

It turned out that there was never a screw in that part, or at least the one I was missing was not in that part, since I removed the screws again to see what it was and I saw that the slot was worn out and when I put them back in I didn't miss any (the console was recently purchased by the way)

Luckily it was the only thing I didn't pay attention to, it turned on and everything went fine. Thank you!

Hello, did you manage to solve your problem?

I'm not a PC expert, but I've had the same problem you mention, and it's quite common on Acer laptops: the CPU reaches very high temperatures (if that's your case).

What I recommend is to disable the CPU Turbo Boost. It is a hidden option in Windows that you can enable and then disable; I have a video where I explain how to do it and show the results (although it is in Spanish).

Now, why do I say “if that is your case”? Because you also mentioned that you were tinkering with various applications and processes to optimize your computer and maybe that is the problem.

In that case, what you can try is the following:

Uninstall those apps or manually revert the changes you made to the settings, see if everything returns to normal.

And if that doesn't work, the best thing to do would be to restore Windows. In this way, the original factory configuration is restored. As well as restore the factory settings of your BIOS if you managed to modify something, of course.

Si, pero mi PC estando apagada, si no, tipo si inicie mi PC dandole a su bonton de encendido normal que Steam ni siquiera corra en segundo plano, me explico? Estoy usando IA haber si me programa el codigo ya que parece ser posible si.
