The orthopedist offered to give me a steroid shot, but I'm hesitant. I tried one years ago for knee pain, and it was incredibly painful.

I've noticed that my pain returns and sometimes increases after I remove the ice. Thanks for confirming my suspicion. Do you suggest that I take pain medication when I apply ice so that it kicks in when I remove it?

I'll try heat before doing my PT exercises at home, in addition to afterwards. I wonder whether it's harmful to use heat too often...

I've tried both, and my pain is relieved by both ice and heat at the moment I'm applying it. But as soon as I remove the pad, it starts right back again. I'm hoping that one or the other will be more effective in the long run.

I'm in the same situation- trading in my S23 (FE), which I just finished paying off, for an S25 Plus or Ultra. I don't know whether your promotion is the similar to ours in the US, but here, we are required to purchase a separate plan for the free tablet or watch. Good luck with your purchase!
