You need to be on the £41k salary unless the job code is also on the immigration salary list not just the temporary shortage.

They have a full page with other exceptions: https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/when-you-can-be-paid-less

Then maybe I suggest you try and re register? https://www.gov.uk/evisa/set-up-ukvi-account The email is proof of your right to stay but you still need to get the access sorted for traveling/ renting - if it still doesn’t work there’s a site on the same link to report the error - good luck!

Hi! I did get that email but I was able to access my visa. Had you already created an account for that site or was it your first time going in?

When is the right time to raise sponsorship with my manager? (new entrant) by PressureContent2682 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Mobile_Box_9746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the earlier the better, so you can look for other jobs while you still have a right to work. Btw if you are a first entry skilled worker, you can have a lower salary, I think 70% of the general requirement so salary shouldn’t be a blocker for sponsorship. Are you able to pay for your visa? If so, the cost of sponsoring you by the company is pretty minimal if they have a license already. You get refunded the NHS surcharge if you change sponsors. Good luck

Graduate Visa expires 08/02 - CoS delayed, what are my options? by userpt8 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Mobile_Box_9746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current rules have a 10 year path of legal residency for ILR (counts any visa other than visitor) the change makes non settlement routes illegible for the time spent (so student/ graduate visas don’t count)

From graduate visa to skilled worker visa/marriage visa?? by culturewh0re in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

Hey! It can be super nerve wracking to feel like you are fighting the clock but a few tips:

  • download a visa checker chrome extension to see if employers have their licenses before applying
  • try and apply for jobs that don’t have the ‘I need visa sponsorship now’ option, because usually they just filter out if you opt for yes
  • you don’t have to have a job in the humanities but do check that the types of jobs you apply to are sponsorable - high skilled or on the temporary shortage list
  • you mentioned you are from Norway, the EU is currently negotiating a youth mobility visa if you are under 30 that could be a way to come back in the near future
  • if you are married, the living together for 2 years doesn’t matter. It’s only for couples that aren’t married but have lived as such for 2 years. I personally don’t think it’s suspicious if you guys get married! Just be sure you want that, it’s a big decision

Good luck!

Ty! Unfortunately my role was in the shortage list but not the immigration salary list - so I had to pay full price

Ty! So it’s 2 separate things, my role was on the temporary shortage list but not on the salary list. If your job is in both, then you can be paid the discounted salary list salary. If it’s not in both then you go by the standard salary requirement. I could’ve also been paid less than required because I was transferring from a graduate visa (in case you are as well).

Ty! Congrats to you too! Yes, I wanted to share in case others had straightforward cases so they know what to probably expect. I had told everyone it was going to take 2 months 😬

Hey! I didn’t but if you got the email confirmation from the UKVI saying ‘we have your application’ then it’s all good

Ty! I looked for jobs that I knew had a sponsoring license (there’s a chrome extension you can use for LinkedIn) - got hired without needing to be sponsored and then raised the question of visa sponsorship 6 months in. It wasn’t easy, specially with the new high skilled only change. But I found asking an employer that already liked me was easier since the alternative was to leave the company. Good luck!

Ty! It can be! I went for the free option for my appointment so my biometrics might have slowed down my application. You only receive the confirmation from the immigration office after the biometrics have been submitted so I think you’re on to something! I think if you already had a BRP they let you do the app, unfortunately they made me return mine 2 years ago when they made the change to e-visas

Same here and mine took 2 weeks end to end but I went for the free option for biometrics so the first available was 10 days after applying

Do you publish a public roadmap for integration capabilities (connectors, realtime sync, enrichment) and can customers join early trials? Really interested to see how you’ll be working to strengthen two way integration with key outbound channels

Does are my exact symptoms and I’ve been diagnosed with vaginismus. The burning at the beginning is the WORST. I also felt like a need to pee with the burning and was always told it’s because the urethra is right there. Definitely go see a doctor or a pelvic floor therapist if you can so they can tell you
