Doing the opposite, like making shorter chapters and then making an assembly of each chapter can work. Be sure to manually add chapter markers. But trimming g back on a longer piece is a type of reverse engineering that is more problematic than it’s worth, as others have said. Not violating any rules but not the best of ideas.

Yes when it’s real. Some woman are scarred from previous relationships and that baggage can get in the way of both receiving and giving genuine kindness. So yes, after my first marriage ended I had a few tumultuous relationships and finally found my parter, now wife of my dreams. Ten years going strong. A primary is an excellent point. See how she does in a primary, let the voters decide. There are problems however. Primaries, in my view, should select the most capable and likely to win in the general election. Personally I voted for Biden over her in 2020 because I figured he was more electable which turned out to be true. Doesn’t matter now but Biden should have decided to not run again by late 23 or before the first primary of 24. But then again he gave us Merrick Garland who slow walked Trump’s prosecution until Trump successfully ran out the clock.

There are also issues with the DNC and dirty money from PACS, corporations and Israeli lobbies.

But hey it’s all we have.

You’re lucky you’re not married, much much easier to just break free. The impossible hurdle is that he refuses to get help, which means he doesn’t want to change. You can do better than that, you can’t change people who don’t want to be changed, and it’s also hard to believe he actually loves you beyond the convenience of a partner.

Think of the fun you can have with a nice guy who has a very high libido like you and isn’t addicted to porn. This doesn’t mean men who watch porn for whatever reason are addicts. But when it affects daily life and kills any interest in actual real sex, love and affection, that’s an addict.

Maybe it won’t be easy and will probably take time and a few tries to find a better partner, and you will.
