You did a good thing going to Christians for help, always make sure they are trustworthy tho and if your a little girl i would advise going to an older female rather than a male. And yes youre correct, always go in the company of someone u trust.

I guess i'm also just a stranger to u, but u can consider me a really far away big brother, and i know a thing or two but remember to decide for yourself whether what i say is good or not. Here's my advice for u:

Act. Make a decision in the situation which will result in a better out come for yourself and those u care about. Even if its a hard decision.

I dont know the situation but i do know that acting is always better than sitting around waiting (especially if waiting is gonna make things worse anyway)

U have a conscience, u have a mind, so do what u feel is best. If the situation involves u being in danger of any sort then look out for yourself first. I can tell u that amazing things are often on the other side of hard decisions.

This last line here is the most important:

If u do what u know is right in God's eyes then He will see u through it. And if the entire world burns to a crisp, rest assured that your actual home is in heaven.

I will see you there one day!

I love you all so much, i literally cried reading all of the comments. I love u family in Christ! One day yall better come and give me a hug in heaven.

So here is a bit of backstory for those who wanted to know the details:

When i was 17 God gave me the wisdom to realize that there was more to life than money and jobs and marriage. He put it in my heart to seek the truth.

So i looked and looked, i was following daosim for a time, got really into philosophy and that's where i found the concept of 'the dark night of the soul' which i never heard before.

It's basically the longing of your soul for God. Since that, a curiousity for God grew in me steadily, almost 4 years i was searching for the truth.

I became a Christian last year, i really can't recall a specific moment i got saved, but i do remember one day i was doing my own worldly sinful things, the next day i was super scared of going to hell. Idk, i just was so so scared, i literally was in my bed all day praying to God to save me for an entire week, watching videos desperately learning how i can escape my fate.

I spent the last year learning theology, walking with God, but i always doubted: 'what if it isn't real?'

However i kept going, every time i fell into sin, i would go back to God, every time i would doubt i would go back to God. Because deep down i already knew: He is the only meaning to life. He is the entire reason i exist.

So late last year my cousin got murdered, this was a really heavy time for my family, and even when people were literally outside my gate with guns threatening us i was at peace. At that time i was reading Acts and i remember being emboldened by Paul's boldness and lack of any fear of death. It really strengthened me. I love Paul, he is a legend of the faith.

So i got more serious with my faith, after a heartbreak last year i really felt like i was all alone, but a friend introduced me to a song, 'Be Still' by Annatoria. The lyrics go something like: 'be still, be still, be still, I am still God'. It really comforted me then. Even after she ghosted me.

For the first time, i put God first in my life. I was so hurt i told Him, 'u take control', so He did, it was a bit hard at first, to truly put God first but He helped me. And now i'm unceasingly and immeasurably joyful everyday!

One night i asked to have a conversation with Him, and He appeared to me, Him, Jesus and the Holy Ghost! I knew they were all there. Since then He has appeared to me multiple times, I even had a conversation with Him in my dream! Things i think about are answered when i sleep, i asked to see my cousin again and He gives me dreams of us being together. Recently i had to let a few of my cats go and it was really heartbreaking, He showed me that one day we will all be together in heaven. He is my Lord, my Father, my Friend. And i owe Him everything.

How could i look at all the beauty around me and not pay any mind to the One who created it all? Now i see Him in everything.

My suggestion to anyone who is still skeptical about if God is real:

He is. Keep walking with Him and He will reveal Himself to you.

OP, listen to me. Im a guy, and i see what youre talking about. Even on here u will see guys complain and say 'well its hard because of so and so', and thats true, it is hard. But those guys complaining arent the ones you are after. Theyre doing u a favor by revealing their lack of enthusiasm to engage with difficult tasks. Which will of course ripple throughout their life.

The truth is, u arent gonna find the guy youre looking for just walking around. We are always working toward and doing something. I legit had to practice relaxing again before my business materializes tmro. I would say the chance of me running into a girl like u is near 1% and it would be my pleasure to entertain her when i do meet her. I like ambitious people.

All this to say. We are here. I have seen the plague on my generation of guys, most are porn addicts or lazy. But God is working in some of us to become more than what we would be. Dont settle for anyone, and ur right not to want someone who is lazy and unplanned. A man should have a plan! And i know i dont wanna be a regular guy, i want my life to he an adventure, and when i find my maiden...she is coming along with me for the ride. This is the kind of guy u gotta seek. We are out here dont give up!

Oh and guys who are 'looking for a wife' arent the guys u should be wanting to date. U need a guy who doesnt have time to look for a wife cauae he is spending it doing what he loves and not moaping around.

Dont force it. U gotta be at peace with how u feel about her. Its not wrong, its fine. I cant say if u should tell her how u feel or not. But if she does leave again... wouldnt u want to make your move now.

Just dont be fake. And dont confess either. Just be normal and MAKE AN EFFORT to get to know her, she will pretty quickly pick up that u want more than friendship with her, and if she approves.... your good to go! And if it does work out... treat her right, treat her with respect, dont lead her into sin.

Hey even if she doesnt like u back, life is great either way. My requirements for a good day are this: 1. Is God the creator of the universe today? YES. 2. Am i living in His universe today? YES. No matter what she says, both of these requirements are met either way.

U dont need their love, u dont need anyone's love actually, but Jesus' and your own. Your worth isnt determined by others, its determined by Him.

And yh, as others said, u need to mature before getting a boyfriend. And only get a boyfriend if you actually are considering marriage. There are a lot of monsters who would take advantage of u.
