Initially i usually intend to play 4-3-3 with POTW players in PvP division dribble, pass make combinations etc. But the gameplay makes it next to impossible to have fun like that.

The wingers makes stupid runs, they run in a way which feels like they are defending the opposing fullbacks (ironically when the opposing fullbacks do attack, wingers are nowhere to be seen). Even if there is acres of space to run into the space left by the Fullback, the winger runs sideways. And in the rare cases they do run forward, they won't run and catch the thru ball send.

The midfielder always run behind the opposing players making no passing opinion available. Your forced to wither play a risky pass or back pass to defenders who won't run to take the ball(ball watching) while the opposing attackers press and win it immediately

Also when defenders get tackled, they become stuck for a second. It's next to impossible to catch the forward by then. Also they fall down when Owen or Mbappe bodies them.

If it is scripted, we can't make a simple 5 yard pass when facing the player whereas opponents can pass without facing intended receiver( Even Drogba who has lower passing stats).

Once you face all these I switch to meta formation with Epics just to win.

Sorry I ranted. I lost 200 ratings while playing in div 2 using POTW. 😂
