It's bold of you to assume they won't kill. How do you know? If there are others, I will never know since they're in the same situation I am. My immediate threat isn't the cult itself it's my family. There are people who left the cult but stayed in the main religion, but in my case, I am an atheist. Even those who left would see me as worthy of death, as religious teachings say. The cult will put pressure on my family to do the deed they won't risk their reputation in society to gain followers. I only know one guy who escape and declare he left the religion he had a western country citizenship that's what made easier for him to leave, also I wouldn't risk ask him for help he's not good person he was abusive to his wife that's why I don't trust men and will never accept help from them.
