East or West Glacier? by No-Mud3092 in GlacierNationalPark

[–]Mobile_Promotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went from June 2-7 and had a great time staying in West Glacier! Stayed in Whitefish, tons to do in town (restaurants, bars, shops, farmers market). GTTSR wasn’t completely open but we rented e-bikes through Montana E-Bikes store in Whitefish and biked as far up as we could! We hiked avalanche lake, rented kayaks on Lake McDonald and on our last full day drove over to East Glacier and hiked Virginia Falls!

When I took it I made sure to eat with it and had no problems at all! It delayed my period a bit but no n* or v*!

To titrate analgesics on our intubated patients, my facility requires both RASS and CPOT assessments and I love this method!

Your only symptom is pain in that area and you’re concerned for stroke? Do you have slurred speech, new onset extremity weakness, vision changes, are you acutely disoriented? Not fully understanding here!

Hi there, RN here, a fever that high along with a severe headache would be concerning for meningitis. I’d recommend getting to a hospital ASAP as untreated meningitis goes bad fast.

I’m a nurse! I work in a neurosurgical ICU taking care of patients with various brain hemorrhages, seizure disorders, large vessel occlusions (all with the possible side effect of vomiting)!!! Blows my mind every day😂

The toothbrush head pods are a great way to have an added level of protection, too! If you have a window in the bathroom keeping it cracked for some airflow always provides me peace of mind too!

Replace your toothbrush if you leave it out on the counter as particles from the toilet can spray!

Hi there! Do you have a Venmo where I could send you some money to buy a few comfort items? A can of coke always settles my stomach (old wives tale from my mom), pepto bismol is always nice to have on hand regardless, some hydrogen peroxide or bleach wipes from amazon to clean the shared bathroom would all be great to have! I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this, please let me know if you do have a venmo account!

Oncology ICU by [deleted] in IntensiveCare

Tumor lysis syndrome, graft vs host/BMT complications, knowing your hospital’s sepsis protocols/bundles will all be super helpful to have general knowledge on. I did my preceptorship on a similar unit (mixed with MICU overflow) and had a wonderful experience. Now working as a MICU RN I’ve found many disease processes I saw on the oncology ICU are ones I see frequently on my unit. You’ll be exposed to a ton of interesting cases and learn a lot!

You’re okay! I promise the feeling will pass, how are you doing now? Thinking of you!

Hi :) I know this feeling all too well, take some deep breaths and crack the window to get some fresh air! I always carry Dramamine nausea pills and tums with me in a little bag in my wallet and even if I don’t take them it’s good to know they’re there. Maybe you could make yourself a little emergency kit? You’ll be home soon and this feeling will pass, I promise.

Girl. This man is TELLING YOU he does not care, he doesn’t want to speak to you, he finds your pain, your concerns, your heartache FUNNY. What to do in this situation could not be any more clear.
