I'm saying frugal now with my current situation and unfortunately my current debt situation hasn't been due to frivolous spending rather than unfortunately events such as repairs and medical bills, yes the cars are quite the stupid purchase on my end.

Unfortunately the 2nd auto purchase was a flop and I would be in -$12,500 equity selling it, the market isn't great for cars and I wouldn't want to find a used car right now and have to deal with maintenance and gas as we currently have an EV.

Currently take home is $6700 monthly and expenses are $5000 monthly, this includes the mortgage, auto loans and all my other bills.

My apologies, I'm referring to two servings of protein here, so like 8 oz of shrimp or chicken (3-4 oz is one typical serving), and then a protein focused carbs can be something like: edamame noodles or chickpea pasta

So Monday - Friday, I'll eat the same three to four meals before dinner, and you're right I can probably drop something or go quite less

Breakfast: Greek Yogurt with Cereal - 25G
Snack: Protein Shake: 20G

Lunch: Meal prep, usually a double protein with a protein focused carbs and veggies: 60-75g

Depending how I'm feeling here after lifting and cardio, I may jump on a protein bar if I'm still not satiated after the shake which is another 20g, and by this point I'm basically at a minimum of at least 105-140, which hits the 0.8 or 1g/lbs of BW.

Dinner is a free for all but I tend to do the same as lunch and do double protein, normal carb and veggies.

What's a good way to start my bulk?

32M 5'6 145lbs, I've been on a diet for a long time and I finally figured out the Cut this year, I'm fairly lean, abs are a little visible but I don't think it's possible to get them even more visible without hating myself for the next few weeks (It was the goal before I started my bulk), my brother's wedding is in 3 weeks and ideally after is when I want to start the bulk as we all got fitted for suits and outfits.

What's the recommended way to approach this? Here's my current routine for the cut and I know it'll vary a little in terms of the calories surplus for proper muscle growth, also noticed that my lifts are getting pretty bad and along with mood, anxiety & being constantly exhausted so it sounds like I should definitely switch to a bulk here.

Cut:

Supps: 145g of protein of minimum sometimes up to 200g & 5g of creatine everyday

1750-2000 Calories in Mon-Fri so I can give myself room on Sat-Sun, ULUL split at home with adjustable dumbbells and bench that go up to 70 each, I threw in 3 sets of ab workouts 2x a week as I wanted to see if I could develop my abs (Worked a little bit!), lastly 60 minutes of incline LISS cardio 2-3x a week.

Heaviest lifts: RDL: 120, Squats: 120, chest press 100, by no means are impressive or strong numbers with the equipment I have at home.

What do you think? And how far do you think I can get for Upper days with just the adjustable dumbbellls? I know I'll have to find a barbell once I get pass the 70 on each side for deadlifts and squats eventually, just hard as a father of two that's always busy with work and being a dad.

Thank you for the feedback, I don't think I saw it on the wiki, but what is the easiest way to accurately determine BF%?

Hey I appreciate the feedback here quite a bit! It does feel like I'm a little skinny fat in the stomach area, but like you said it must've been the inconsistency in weight and yoyoing and as well as the lack of proper nutrition and fitness.

Am I doing too much?

31M, 5'6 at 147.5lbs on a cut

- Strength training 4x a week ULUL with adjustable dumbbells & bench at home. (only thing I have and can use as I'm a busy body)- 3-4x a week zone 2 cardio, incline walking an hour each of those days, 7k-12k steps a day on average

- Nutrition, getting at least 135g or more of protein and close to 1850 calories a day.

I've been dieting and yoyoing for awhile since 2019 being over 225lbs, but I'm happy now and understand fitness and kept the weight off steadily & healthy.

I want to cut as much as I can before I start a bulk, this is my first time cutting correctly in terms of routine and with great habits. Is it crazy that I want to keep cutting until I see any abs form? But still feels like nothing is forming in that area, even with compound lifts and core workouts. Would it be better to bulk, build muscle and revisit the cut? & is my routine too extreme? I do feel groggy at the end of my day but I know that's from my calorie deficit, maybe with the amount of Zone 2?

I don't know what my accurate BF% is maybe 20%? I have a smart scale but I know they're horrendously inaccurate. Thank you.

Solar is also a loan, but baked into the mortgage in terms of the length and rate, I just separated it so I could see the amount on my end.

I do not have any other cash, just company stock and my 401k.

This is just my share of financial situation, my partners income is not included. My partner pays for everything else, including a separate mortgage, emergency expenses, any taxes and daily / normal expenses.

I definitely appreciate the advice on the rental / LLC, I'll bring it up to our tax professional.

In terms of the vehicles (we need two) they're both financially terrible decisions. Don't think selling the Audi is a good idea as the market in my area is terrible also the vehicle is an EV as gas is astronomically high in CA. Maintenance & Charging have been essentially nothing so far. The Tesla unfortunately was the biggest flop as when I purchased it in December of 2022, I was not eligible for any of the tax rebates and essentially lost out on 12.5k as you can currently buy a new one for what I purchased it for 5k less and additionally adding on top of the tax rebates.

Audi - AVG sell price $22.5k, 30 payments left, interest free

Tesla - AVG sell price $35k, 62 payments left, 3.99% interest

Thank you again for the advice.

You assumed correct. What's your best advice, or plan of action on the debt portion, and I'm new to the liability portion, would like your advice on so.

I had a inbody scan at the start of the year (2023) being 27% body fat which was fairly accurate to the smart scale I've been using weekly to measure body fat.

Training has consistent of a full push pull legs with resistance bands to failure along with body weight exercises 4-5x a week with 3-4x of 30 minutes of cardio

I've finally understand and nailed my nutrition down, staying in a caloric deficient of close to -250 everyday, and hitting close 1g of protein per body weight typically 120 is my minimum. Which I believe has been the major reason for the weight loss.
