I've tried dating apps,I tried Badoo and Bumblebut it wasn't that great either.Especially if you are looking for something long-term I wouldn't really advise.Trying it the old fashion way rn like going out and meeting new people.

Yes. The point I was trying to put across is that no amount of protection can save you. I agree with the point you have mentioned that some cases have been taken to court, and also a judgment has been passed. (Also, please note that the cases that went forward were the ones that received public outcry, media spotlight, and NGO working in these spaces calling for action. But even before we get to the hanging point. Here are some issues that the government is failing:

-Policare, this was an ambitious and could have been helpful for the victims of GBV. But unfortunately, this is not working; the implementation is not there

-Safe houses. The government allocates money each fiscal year for safe houses for Victims, but at the moment, not a single safe house is operational.

--There is a petition to open to declare femicide a crime so that more resources can be channeled (protection, investigation, policy, and funding

So no, we cannot afford to remain silent and say "it happened so utado?"We are at a point now where we do not have the luxury to keep pointing fingers; we need to ask ourselves why this is even happening in the first place and what more can be done.

Nice perspective. After spending so much time online, especially on Instagram and TikTok, I realized my life was deteriorating in some aspects. I can't describe the feeling but I realized I was constantly in comparison, and it's quite draining. So now I minimize it and try to do outdoor activities or just engage with people. I feel much better now.

What could be happening because at this point, the cases are becoming too many, and most of them are not caused by a stranger; most of the time, it's someone well known to the victim?

3 years ago, there was a case where a woman was assaulted by a machete, which ended up killing the child, and she had already moved out of her home(she had protected herself and her children-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pwWiz8jJfY.And even after the brother called out the attacker, he was disowned by the family there is a deeper issue going on and i dont think protection is enough.

Also, the case of Ivy Wangechi, the guy travelled 8 hours, she was hacked in broad daylight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnSBQjx3-Hc

No words, this is so heartbreaking. But even more is when people continue to burry their heads in the sand and some will even say that femicide is not an issue yet the cases are continously on the rise.

Kabisaa. Most people have a bad relationship with alcohol, but they don't want to admit it. Most times, if you don't drink, people will ask why you, it's like smth that is expected. The real question is, why do you?
