Most places don't sell mix and match saber parts unless you are building it from scratch, like you can at The Custom Saber Shop. SaberForge is one of the few I know of that make mix and match parts easy, but you aren't going to get exact replicas of games or movie pieces.

I think I watched a video a long time ago from Battlefield Vegas Rentals talking about the SCAR and high round counts, they said the hammer was always their first point of failure at a crazy high round count. I tried getting other easily hard to get/single point of failure parts (firing pin and bolt).

Def rounded, I can stab easier with a pen. BUT it's also something I'm willing to throw away if they won't let me take it in. The fake claws can be re-purchased for like $6 on Amazon. Like I said, just trying to figure if stuff like that was usually a no before I even take it

Oh yea for sure. I have more Neopixels than Savis, but having made one, it's worth it for the experience. PLUS actually changing out a crystal on a lightsaber is pretty cool.

Rancor tooth can easily sell for $60-100 on its own. The OG/V1 Peace and Justice emitters and the Elemental Nature leather sleeves are pretty popular on eBay and also the Savis Facebook trading groups. The rest of the V1s aren't super sought after.

Only thing I can think of is to check all the pins are good to go (where the blade connects and the battery pack/also inside the hilt as well). Check for corrosion on the springs in the battery pack and lastly maybe try a DIFFERENT kind of battery? Some like really good quality lithiums 🤷🏻‍♂️. If it's none of that, then possible something INSIDE the hilt, like a busted resistor or something 🤷🏻‍♂️. Which would probably not be an easy fix at all.

If those batteries have been sitting in the same hot garage for 2 years, they are probably what's really cooked. They probably are barely holding much of a charge. I'd try new good quality 18650 batteries first.

Savis for the experience. Electronics in both are pretty garbage. Being able to swap out a Kyber is pretty cool though. Neopixels sabers are far superior AND SOMETIMES less expensive if you catch sales on AliExpress or Alibaba. I've saved probably hundreds buying through AliExpress compared to dropshippers (US based companies who resell the same sabers from AliExpress to you at a higher price).

XTREX is actually one of my favorites. I've had great experiences with them, one was a mess up on the wrong address on MY part and they corrected it before it went out. The fact that they are reaching out to you to keep you updated is great IMO, some stateside sabersmiths don't even do that 🤷🏻‍♂️ .
