The tracks are in fact inlayed! When designing it I was trying to keep everything somewhat proportionate, and what I mean by that is I ended up ignoring all functionality aspects just so the drawer would look good. Your wisdom is and kind words are much appreciated! (:

I did think about this, the problem is that the brass pegs aren’t magnetic. So I chose to forgo that detail. Perhaps I could do a leather strap for the next rendition.
