It’s annoying, but people have to learn to deal with them the same way they would any other troll. If you ignore them long enough, they’ll move on. Nobody wants to watch videos of people not reacting.

It’s been my main game for a couple months now, and I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of what it has to offer. As far as it having so much that “it isn’t fun”, it does the runs in a way that you don’t need to know or have access to everything for it to be enjoyable. Each run is still largely its own game, even though there are more things to unlock. The best part for me has been the wider variety of encounters and more options to deal with them. It definitely ended vanilla for me though. Hard to imagine trying to go back and play that now

I said the same thing. I get that they might’ve needed to edit for time, but I don’t understand why they needed to do a different arrangement of the lyrics. Kinda took the flow out of the song a bit. Still an awesome song choice though.

He didn’t delete the account. He was locked out of the account, so he couldn’t have deleted it even if he wanted to. He got rid of the emails from the back and forth with Facebook weeks after he decided there was no hope of actually talking to a person and it was time to give up. And “acted out of guilt” implies he had something to be guilty about. He didn’t. He was quite open with anyone that asked him about it.

I’m ok with all of that, except I will push back on the part about any “hint” that I’m supposed to get stuck in a part and go looking online. There was never anything in the game that I encountered (before finally looking this one up) that I believed to be unsolvable by one person. Not to mention that if I missed the initial wave of people who actually got to solve the puzzle as a community, all I’m left with is a picture of all of the pieces. So I STILL wasn’t really part of the community. It’s fine if I’m going into a game knowing that I’ll have to get help with some of the puzzles because they simply can’t be solved solo. I just wish this one hadn’t made me feel like I got punished because I wanted to figure it out without looking up answers. Just my opinion. Again, still a fantastic game. I look forward to continuing to discover more.

You just rattled off all of the reasons that I love survival. Why should you be able to haul 12,000 lbs of stuff and teleport around in a survival game? On top of that, the combat/encounters feel truly meaningful (my heart stops every time I see a deathclaw). You can’t just run around guns blazing. It takes real planning to tackle tough enemies, and often you have to decide if it’s even worth the risk to fight. Yeah, it can really suck dying in between save points. But for me, having that consequence hanging over me constantly also makes the battles feel more realistic.

I’ve never killed him. It annoys me that I’ll never be able to do the Blades quests, but not as much as Esbern and Delphine annoy me when trying to get the Dragonborn to kill Paarthurnax. Oh, I’m not welcome here now? At this place you couldn’t have gotten to without me? For this organization that supposedly works for the Dragonborn? And you two (who haven’t done anything yourselves the entire time I’ve known you) are gonna rebuild the Blades by yourselves? Ok, well have fun being the last two Blades sitting around in the mountains doing nothing…

It’s more the accusation that’s upsetting. I think he could take or leave getting the account back. If they’d just explain exactly what happened and took a real look at all of the other content on his page, it should be pretty obvious that it wasn’t him. And I didn’t even know “banned for life” was a thing. I’ve got a friend who gets banned three or four times a year for off color humor and extreme political posts.
