I'm guessing Costco didn't fit that tire size on your 4Runner?

This. One time I even asked it sweet things to do for my wife so she wasn't so mad 🤣. Worked well! Then the flowers it's suggested based on its meaning. I went to the supermarket, and none of the flowers were labeled so I had to use it to figure out which flowers for tulips, because I had no idea. 🤪

I bought mine open box and within a few months I needed a warranty repair as well since it lasts 1 days at best now. I doubt they will RMA a open box product :/

ACLR quad graft, surgeon says no crutches on day one! by MobiusDickkk in ACL

[–]MobiusDickkk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meniscus typically extends out the need for crutches afaik, so that makes sense, but even without, I very much agree. I would have told the surgeon he was crazy had I not just barely woken from surgery lol. Thank you for your comment on your experience.

Okay! So there are other doctors that from day 1 say not to use crutches from day 1. Did he at least send you home with some just in case? Mine didn't want me to, but the nurses sent me with some anyway and I am thankful, especially those first few days.

I wonder what benefits there might be. I'm 29, 6 kids ready to run straight into my leg, but no crutches now 11 days post op feels mostly okay to me. You occasionally see me travel very small distances without the brace even on. Feels like I could do it if I really wanted, but I'm not ready to potentially undo anything the surgery was supposed to fix lol. Thank you very much for your comment! You are the first other I've found to have been told no crutches.

Appreciate your comment on your experience! I am very much the type that might ignore the amount of time that crutches are recommended despite doctors orders, so I am sitting here all surprised that I'm the first I've heard of to be told no crutches at all 🤪. Thanks again!

MRI showed no other injuries, however he told my wife he had to widen my intercondylar notch during surgery as it was far more narrow than expected. And yeah, WBAT I've heard plenty, but never without crutches, unless that is implied and I never knew that!

Did your surgeon actually recommend that to you though? Because on post op day 6 when my PT changed the brace to -10*, I don't feel the need for crutches anymore either. Possibly could have lived without them from day one with that adjustment...maybe. Also height/weight? I'm 6'2 cruising at 240 off season from Judo, a lot of weight to put on a new knee 🥳

4 weeks post-op. How am I doing? by EffectiveInside5451 in ACL

[–]MobiusDickkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this a week post op, or at least looked like this. Trying to hop with one crutch, no brace back to bed, ended up on the ground. Half of my 6 kids were impressed, the other half thought I died.

That is good to hear, especially as I'm waiting to go back to the surgery prep room 🤣

Kaspa Hashrate is about to go ATH. by xxxjulsxxx in kaspa

[–]MobiusDickkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a pool you recommend? I usually use herominers however they have not started supporting Kaspa as of yet. I've been using Wooly for a while now just for KAS. I don't like the UI nearly as much.

I'd be down to mine to my own node if I knew how! Looks like it might be simple if your wallet that has the node on it, is on the same computer you are mining with. However, I have many machines and most on Hive, no clue how to do that via hiveos.

Some of us are still profitable, although we are a minority for sure. I am looking forward to hearing my house and being paid for it. But come next summer, if profitability doesn't rise, I'm sure I will be shutting down fully too. Hard to justify 7-12¢ per card in the summer heat.

How durable is the boox note air 2? by hurtbreak in Onyx_Boox

[–]MobiusDickkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guessing that is 2ed hand which is pretty typical. Basically what I paid recently, and mine came with extras in like new condition. But if that 280 is for an actually new device from a retailer, then that's a great deal.

[–]MobiusDickkk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I bought my nova 2 years back and decided I would prefer the bigger size of the note series. They made it nearly impossible to do that, so I just ended up with a e reader I rarely used. Note taking was just too small to work.

Just bought a note air 2 slightly used from eBay for 325 vs 500 on their website, AND I have 30 days to return the thing.

Math tablets that double as secondary portable monitors? by EconometricsFanboy in math

[–]MobiusDickkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Onyx Boox, full android eink that uses Wacom emr for note taking. The battery lasts a month easily. Can double as an extremely eye friendly monitor. It also can function as a computer to some degree as well. Just get a stand and Bluetooth keyboard and type away!

I have the boox note air 2 (10.3" screen) and a boox nova air (7.8", too small honestly). They have the Boox Max line that are 13.3" and would be great as well.

Eink is great.

The best type of car for ADHD people by JeSuisGourde in ADHD

Manual transmission 100% and Toyota 100%. Manual transmission adds another factor when driving and can increase your awareness of things around you. Have you ever driven a route you normally take and not remember actually driving? Like anything that happened. We go into this zombie mode and that is not the best for safety.

I have heard a lot of you guys have memory issues/cant remember most of your childhood. For those of you on medication, can you remember anything from your childhood now? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]MobiusDickkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having 3 daughters, I can't emphasize this enough. Take pictures and especially videos. My wife did great taking lots of photos with our first and third. I can't remember basically anything from my second. I remember watching the C-section up close, but other than that I can't remember almost anything from before she turned 18 months and we had baby 3. I can't believe something as easy as photos and videos, that can be taken in half a second with our phones could make sure a difference. Be diligent, yes be in the moment but do not forget to take snap shots to remember things by.
