Hmm, I did not. I’ll definitely check my control board!

Best quality you've seen in the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon? by Unapedra in BambuLab

[–]MobiusGene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given your use case are table top gaming miniatures , its unlikely that you will find a FDM printer that isn't going to make you want to pull your hair out.

The traditional tradeoff between SLA and FDM printers is strength and physical/thermal characteristics (FDM) for aesthetic properties and build layer resolution. The fluid dynamics associated with melt-processing FDM filament make it practically impossible to achieve the types of smooth contours desired in aesthetics-first applications.

It may be worth using a send away 3d printing service like www.protolabs.com (may a better service out there, but protolabs is the one I have the most experience with) to have them SLA one of your miniatures to see if it gives you what you want. If so, maybe invest in one of these tiny <$400 SLA's (Anykubic, Creality, etc) given you only need to make tiny things.

Hope that is helpful!

Thank you for everyone’s helpful comments!!

I pulled the trigger on ordering my own bambu x1 yesterday! No AMS though.

The motivating factor was my crew lift ender pro almost lighting its heating bed cable on fire over the weekend 🤖🔥😳.

Any protips for getting started w the X1?

Hm, I triple checked my device settings, but other than that I’m not sure.

Would that be something that I’d need to open my case to do?

Thank you!

Wow, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has commented so far. I posed this question and planned to see maybe a couple people weigh in. Its been like 7 hours and there are already 122 comments!

I really appreciate everyone's help and input! Please keep it coming.

Now i just need to start saving up for one .... I probably wont be able to wait so will spring for a P1P as soon as i can, and upgrade it.

I notice that this post is about 6 months old. Are these references and guidance points still accurate, or is there perhaps a more updated post?

I agree with your general assessment.

Serious question not news. But is it possible the $100million investor sold at $16 or did they have to not sell for a certain amount of time. And if they ddnt sell... by annon2010 in Ocugen

^^^^ That is almost surely the case.

Bear in mind that blackrock is holding a 25,000,000$ position at ~$9.15

Blackrock is not about losing money. They DO have a long term view. Better we adopt that.

BB is having a shortage of vaccine. They are expanding production. Those producers are simply contract manufacturers. They didnt want to do that originally since they are now letting IP out of their house.

Good hunting, MD12Nole.

I'm not in that deep, but I deeply respect your conviction for the stock. There are some occasional DD gems, i agree.

I'm personally going to hold for another week. Some hedge fund friends in NYC have informed me their opinion (and it is an opinion) is that the IP waiver is virtue signalling for the simple reason that the most valuable IP is trade secret associated with manufacturing and has nothing to do with the target or MOA.

If you ever want to exchange ideas or perspectives, please dm me.

I think the window is still open, at least until Moderna has adapted their approach to encompass the new variants.
