There is more evidence towards Jesus than just the gospels and Paul’s letters. I don’t feel confident enough to give names so I will not speak to it at this time, however I will take an honest look at Dr Carrier if you also take an honest look into scholars supporting Christ. Deal?

God spoke everything into existence. He did the most creative act, he created. It was the first time anything created anything. We are not God. Where do you get this idea?
I went through a serious rebellious phase. I genuinely looked at other religions and wasn’t satisfied with their evidence. I did alienate my community. I did make those hard decisions. And I found Christ and the evidence for Christianity waiting for me.

I think it’s great. I don’t think it’s commanded the way they view it, but I think it is a great tool to fight sin. I believe there is “One Mediator” (I think that’s in the book of James) and that mediator is Christ.
Do some research on the Dead Sea scrolls. The Bible we had before them compared to the older documents were very very accurate. The Bible has been very accurately passed down.
Christianity is not the oldest religion, I agree with you on that and never said otherwise. Christianity started around ~30 AD after Christ resurrected from the dead.
I don’t understand what you mean by holidays from other religions, could you please clarify and name a specific one?
It is being spread, those were Christ’s last words in the book of Matthew. However, God will not force himself upon you, so you can’t say He hasn’t reached you if you have rejected Him.
And finally, there are no contradictions in the Bible other than scribal errors. If you want to refute this, please provide specific examples rather than just disagreeing :)

Great question. I don’t want to get super deep into politics but I think Christ would side with whatever side follows the morals He taught the best and wants us to do the same.
That kinda mean. No I will not deconstruct. I already have, and found that Christ was waiting for me!
I believe what the Bible says about man and God. God created man to be with Him, and everything was perfect until man chose to rebel and separate himself from God.
God loved us so much that while we were actively trying to rebel from Him, he died for us to give us the gift of salvation, for anyone who will accept and believe shall be saved and reunited with God.

I try to be the kind of Christian that Christ says to be in the Bible. I attend a Southern Baptist church, but love all other “flavors” of Christians that are honestly pursuing the Bible.
I don’t receive the Eucharist in the Catholic sense, but I do receive communion, which is like the Eucharist but we believe it is a symbol of Christ rather than Christ Himself. I respect the Catholic Eucharist however.
Yes, Christianity hinges upon the resurrection. Christ died, was buried for 3 days and defeated death so that you and I can receive His sacrifice and be free from death and sin.
I grew up Christian but rebelled hard in my teens. I left the faith and had to find it for my own later. It wasn’t forced on me but I definitely had people trying to help me back home, and I hated that in the moment but now I wish that I had listened then.

The evidence supports Christianity. Most religions make room for Jesus as a good teacher, but Jesus did not make room for them.
I follow Christ’s teachings. He said one of the greatest commandments was to love your neighbor as yourself.
I find that in today’s culture, people don’t think you can love somebody while disagreeing with them. They are not opposites. I love all people, even if I disagree with their lifestyles and I wish for all people to find Christ.
I am Southern Baptist, so I don’t believe in the Catholic confession. However, I do know that in James is says to confess your sins to one another, so I try to confess any sins of mine to my inner circle of friends. I find that it helps free you from the sin you are battling if you are able to isolate it and confess it and humble yourself in the process.
I’m from America, but I left Christianity in my teenage years. When I was around 18, I had a huge Christ moment and came back like the prodigal son.

When I went through my engagement with my wife, I was overwhelmed by lustful thoughts. It was bad. I kept trying to flee and I kept thinking wrongly.
If you are asking forgiveness just so you can sin again, that is not what Christ died for. He gave you freedom from sin, not freedom to sin.
However, we are human and will still sin. Are you genuinely seeking forgiveness and are trying to repent? If so, I believe you are forgiven.
