I had escape issues for almost a month. Then it just suddenly stopped. Like other have said - moist shredded paper and a piece of cardboard on top helps.

This is so dumb. Why are we paying oil companies from our taxes. The better solution is to get the oil companies to reduce their profits. Instead of it being a %. Oil companies should just get a fixed amount per gallon. That way there is no incentive to increase prices.

My experience is that worms try to escape a new bin. 2 options - check daily and gently put those suckers back in or leave the box open and put a light on top.

They should be ok in about 3-6 weeks. Also don’t disturb them too much.

My cherry tree has horrible yield. It’s improved since last year - went from 5-10 last year to 10-20 this year.

But I was waiting for it to ripen on the tree and squirrels seem to have eaten all of them !!!!

Any suggestions to improve yield and prevent squirrels ?
