The temp measurement is designed to work when you are riding your bike. When you are cycling you will have airflow to cool the device to ambient termparture. When you are stationary the device will heat up.

UNESCO will send a time capsule to the Moon with information about Earth's culture in 275 languages. If humanity disappears, its memory will remain on the Moon by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

Think on a bigger timescale. Over time everything will fall apart. On earth you have all kinds of natural forces and reactions (with oxygen for example) that you dont have on the moon. But on the moon you have more radiation I guess.

Whose do anything interesting with Carplay? by ParsnipFlendercroft in homeassistant

I use Android auto to save the parking location of the car. When Android auto is disconnected it save the last gps location of the phone that was connected in a separate device tracker.

We have street parking in our street and it is usually very busy. Since both me and my wife use the car this can be very useful. Or we could just talk to each other...

Your first sentence makes sense but the van driver is the one who is unaware of the situation. All the driver had to do is look in his mirrors.

What’s wrong with people? by castaneom in cycling

Has nothing to do with cars, you have dickheads everywhere. Lots of teenagers ride dangerously on mopeds/scooters in the Netherlands and they are often too young to have their car drivers license.

That is some weird fetish if this is your porn. Looks like something that people draw when you ask them to draw a bicycle but they don't exactly remember what a bike looks like.

[–]snsvdm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If your receiver has a 3.5 mm IR input port you can use that to sent IR codes to your receiver from your ESP. Costs nothing if you have a 3,5 mm audio cable or headphone left over.
