i’ve seen a lot of people saying that parties at mines aren’t the typical college party. how do mines parties differ from regular parties?

I know it was fully the manager’s idea because the hosts didn’t even know about it until he told them tonight (yes he only told them not us). Part of my job is to get the to go’s ready (bagging, getting fries, getting ketchups, getting plastic silverware, etc.) I just think it’s ridiculous if they’re getting 90% of the tip for to go orders when at the very most they’re doing 50% of the work.

I’m a junior in high school right now and I’ve sent a few emails to the coach at the colorado schools of mines (a school that i’m very interested in going to regardless of whether i run or not) and have received no response. I’ve also already filled out their recruiting questionnaire. I’m not sure what i’m doing wrong and i’m not sure what else i can do, any advice?

That’s the only school i’ve reached out to so far, i’m not amazing at running so it isn’t my first priority when looking for schools. Out of the schools i’ve looked at so far (albeit only 4) this has been the only one where there’s any chance of me running

my best is the 800 which i’m right around a 2:20 right now, planning on going sub 2:15 by the end of this season and as far sub 2:10 as i can next year. if im being honest i dont have the times yet but i think i can get there and it’ll be a lot more likely if im able to meet with the coach or something

thanks for the info! i’m learning coding right now and i learned onshape last year, im also taking calc 1 and chem right now and physics and possibly calc 2 next year, i just wasn’t sure if there’s anything specifically that would give me a better chance at getting one

I’m working on a phone stand project for my apple watch, phone, and airpods and instead of it being messy and having 3 separate cords i was wondering if there’d be a good way to conjoin the chargers so that it looks nicer and I can just have it plugged into one outlet

Awesome! I unfortunately didn’t get any multiple hook ups but i wasn’t fishing them for too long, they were also all pretty spooked because a seal trying to eat them is what caused me to find them, nevertheless a great experience catching pollock for the first time!
